The framers intentionally entrusted the Power of Impeachment to the Congress.
Intentionally keeping it out of the slippery hands of the Courts.
The Dems went exactly by the book so that so and your pals would be unable to say such a thing.
Impeachment was mandated to congress explicitly by the Constitution. It was Dershowitz who was trying to subvert the Constitution by allowing the courts to decide

I don't know what you watched, but what I saw was not described in our constitution. And both articles
where a joke and never work. Now please follow this, our founders intended any impeachment would be done by both political parties, not just one which is then considered a coup and that is what it was.

OK... you obviously didn't get it... The Big Switch is not isolated to the House of Representatives. The Big Switch literally involved millions of citizens.

How do you think the southern states all switched from blue to red? The color of a state isn't determined by Congress it's determined by the popular vote. Yes, Congress can sometimes assert *some* influence via gerrymandering and local governments are frequently guilty of voter suppression, but none of that changes the fact that the Big Switch involved millions of people not just 435.

So again, how do you think the southern states all switched from blue to red? How did millions of people suddenly decide it was better to be Republican? Do you really think they all decided not to be racist anymore? Was it those black sitcoms in the 70's? Did they make those Democratic KKK members laugh so hard they decided black people are OK after all and they should start voting Republican?

Seriously, I'm dying to hear your theory on this.

very well put.

I don't think the facts are in dispute anymore... We all know what happened and you're right it was technically an unconstitutional coup. I think what we are seeing among Republican leaders is combination of defiance among those loyal to Trump (who is essentially a symbolic proxy for Mitch McConnell's Freedom Caucus) and a capitulation among the moderates who I'm sure have been threatened in one way or another. I think what we are seeing among the Republican voters is defiance by Trump supporters and a compromise of better values driven by an unfounded yet overriding fear of the alternative.

It wasn’t done by one party.
The House brought up the charges
The Senate acted as a Jury would.
Did you know there were 2 branches in congress - House and Senate?

Not one Republican was behind this, in congress all the action was done by the Commie left. The Republicans in the Senate ended it. We have a system called Jurisprudence, it is a system of laws governing all courts.
Your clan violated all these laws and rules. You and your party stand for chaos and disorder.

..Not one Republican was behind this, in congress ...

Trump was impeached by the house. He will still have been impeached tomorrow and every day after.
The words among the Republicans were they knew he was guilty but just couldn’t go through with it.
This in my mind makes them all equally guilty and complicit.
They did take an oath didn’t they?
Plus they’re also still getting paid for a job that never gets done.
Why would you think that’s ok.
The Dems went exactly by the book.
You are aware that almost every one he appointed to his cabinet is either in hail or waiting for sentencing?
This man should have net thrown over him immediately.
My biggest fear is that people like you may never understand what’s happening until it’s really really too late.
If you defend him
You enable him.
This makes you also complicit.

As far as me and my clan, assuming you know who my clan is, we have no white supremecists, no Nazi s, no white Power, no anti democratic, flag waving hoodlums in my clan.
So tell me, why are they all in your clan??

He was not impeached, your Commie clan TRIED BUT FAILED, lol. The history books will show what you commie's tried, and it will be in writing forever.
Your clan is embedded in hate, it blinds you so you can not see the truth, sad.

Oh mister
Again you’re not listening.
Trump Was Impeached.
By the House of Representatives.
This is not going away.
He will have the stain of Impeachment forever as his Legacy.
The good news is that he won’t really need Presidential Library named after him.
I mean you can just fill a shoebox full of his “Presidential Tweets”
No need to display the books he read that Have helped him with his leadership capabilities.
I mean , it’s sad because even Reagan one.

And who is this commie left?
Was it Kennedy when he forced Kruschev to stand down?
Was it Obama when he took out Osama Bin Ladin?
Was it Reagan when he got caught trading missiles to Iran for Arms in Central America?
Who are these commies?
