The enemy within. Does anyone recall hearing our enemies saying that they would destroy us from within? All Americans should have heard, and should have taken it to heart, but they did not. Instead they chose those very same enemies to run our government, and we can now see the results. They are ruining our great country, and we stand idly by and let them do it. Our President, if he can be called that, has assumed powers that are granted, or intended, by our Constitution.
The majority of the socialist Democtatic controlled Senate back the President in his illegal and unconstitutional activities, and the majority of the mass media also back him. Even FOX news, the only news agency that gives us some truth about what is going on, soft pedals when it comes to condemning Obams for what he is doing to our government. Congres has neither the will or the courage to take action, even though they have every reason to impeach him. Along with the impeachment of Obama, action should be taken against Senator Harry Reid, on of the most evil, corrupt, and dangerous enemies our country has ever had. Reid has managed to set himself up to wherte he cn control all legislative action, and prevent bills passed by the House of Representative from ever being processed through channels as provided in our Constitution.
They have billions on the bill known as The Affordable Care Act, which is more of an Insurance Bill than it is a Health Bill. People are being force, or at least themselves to be forced, into buying insurance that does not guarantee them health care. When and if they do manage to get an insurance policy the Doctors and Health Services accept, most will not be able to meet the deductible payments. We were much better off before this bill was ever passed, and if such a bill makes any sense, why didn't they just improve on Medicare, which was already doing pretty well. I grew up during the great depression, and the such and injured were well taken care of, even though hardly any one had health insurance.
If you study the Affordable Care Act, a bill consisting of almost one thousand pages, and then realize that it is amended and added to by the so called Education Reform Bill, you wonder just what they had in mind. It certainly wasn't doing something good for the American people, but more a transfer of power to the Executive Branch.
Someone should inform the American people of just why it took such a massive bill to insure the rights of citizens to have health insurance, when it took only one page of our Constitution to insure our rights of free speech, freedom of religion, freedom to assemble and protest, the right to bear arms, etc. All the rights specified in the first ten amendments to our Constitution, known as The Bill Of Rights.
Another thing about the Affordable Care Act, is the fact that the Chief Justice of our Supreme Court calls it a tax bill, but did nothing about the fact that it did not originate in the House of Representatives as required by the Constitution. It has been reported, and recorded as fact, that the bill was proposed and written in the office of Senator Baucus. Senator Baucus gave a speech giving praise to a member of his state, Liz Fowler, who he said had written most of the bill, and had a lot to do with it getting passed. It seems that Ms Fowler had previously worked for the insurance industry, was hired to work in Doctor Baucus's office to handle his insurance problems, and whn Baucus was elected Senator, she joined him as a member of his staff. There is something very wrong in having someone who has not been elected by the American people, writing our laws. Senator Baucus himself stated that she had about 600 pages of the bill written when she joined him in the Senate.
Today, I head someone on TV say that the President had massive powers, and could do almost anything he wanted to do. That is what our enemies in our government want us to believe, but it is not true. The President's powers are limited, and no matter what anyone says, he cannot make or change laws. When our Constitution says "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.",it means just what it clearly say. Only Congress has the right to enact the laws that We The People are governed by. Congress can pass laws with or without the approval of the President.
