Hirsi Ali is a reformed Muslim who has been pushing hard to get people to believe that mistreatment of Muslim women is a crime and nothing else. She has been involved in creating a movie about what happens to them and she has plenty of experience since she grew up Muslim.

How many know that she was kept out of receiving that goodie at the Ivy League college last week? Muslims raised enough hell about her getting the prize that they backed down.

Well, now, it seems that a number of left leaners have been talking up about punishing her for letting people know about how Muslims punish women. Hey, these leaners are among those who keep talking about the Republicans and their war on women. Isn't this a war on women? I can guarantee you I heard two young women talking like that tonight on TV. Of course, Ali knows that they have declared war on her and others who do what she did. It gets riper and riper all the time.

There is no tolerance on the left, they have to lie and fool most people to get elected, they promise the moon, sky and anything else they can think of, but the truth is something that is as foreign to them as respect for women is to Muslims. The left admires radical Muslims because they have mastered power and control, and that is what the left earns for.

I've read many articles on the treatment of muslim women. It's an outrage. They sometimes are married off at the age of eight years old, to some older man. They have no rights and have to wear clothes that completely cover them from head to toe. I say hooray for hirse ali for being brave enough to speak out for muslim women. I don't know how each citizen of this country feels about it, but it boils down to sharia law. Sharia law is being imposed on our country. It must be stopped. Oscandal is a sharia law sympathizer. It has to be stopped, because we have our own laws which has much more tolerance than sharia law. If we don't stop it now, then our children will have to endure these muslim laws and our daughters will be wearing that garb. Great britain has all ready allowed sharia law and it's starting to have big problems with the law. I say lets start praying it doesn't hit hard in our country. It's all ready hit detroit, michigan.

Alright, Oldroy....I'm gonna give you this one. Many liberals, including me, are having a hard time reconciling our belief in 'tolerance' and the treatment of women in Islam. You are correct to point out that an honest appraisal of our position on womens' rights would contradict tolerating the treatment of women in Islamic culture.

That is why the Brandeis position is cowardly.

However, before painting all liberals with a single brush stroke, just consider that many of us think of our mothers and sisters during these personal internal debates (I do ask myself: how do I fuse these two issues?) and I can only come up with one answer.

Bruce, Jeb Bush is no more conservative than his brother George was. I did hear Lindsay Graham say that we have to allow Sharia law but Graham is not a conservative, either, he is a RINO which makes him more liberal in thought.

I just came back from Google and found that many libs have spoken out like that whether you want to think that it could have happened. I did use some prompt words that affected what I got though.

What "goodie" are you talking about? Is this what your post is really about, that this woman didn't receive some "goodie", whatever that is, from some Ivy League school? Actually we know what your post is really about, it's about some thinly veiled attack on "Liberals". It's not about any real concern for the "mistreatment" of Muslim women, it's more of a third grade attack on "Liberals". You are upset at all the actions Conservatives take against "women", like being against "Pro-Choice", against Equal pay for equal work and against covering "contraception", by Health Insurance companies, under the ACA. That these actions are viewed, by "Liberals", and the media, as a "War on Women", that you feel the need to find some issue to counter that argument. I will tell you that no conservatives I know think of the Bushs as conservatives, but you are prog enough that you think that all Republicans are conservatives. Lindsay Graham is not a conservative and he was the only other non-conservative I mentioned. I feel for you Bruce in that you don't really know what is going on.
