It’s with great sadness that I watch another High School shooting. And it’s with absolute hate for the Racist Degenerate Trump Party and the Republicans in Congress that the only option is to do nothing as we sit and watch another sad day in America.

It makes me sick that you say Trump is making America great I say BS you people are a bunch of disgusting pieces of garbage when you can sit back and do absolutely nothing, you block any kind of legislation that just might minimize the Murdering of children in school.

We as adults are suppose to protect our children and this Republican Party just want to adhere to the NRA who donate millions of dollars to the GOP. When the hell does all this stop.

Another sad day for this country and it hurts when I see this kind of stuff it hurts real bad. You and the misses still working different work hours? I know it’s hard to do. When my wifey and I worked for the same company (different company organizations), oftentimes we’d be like 2 ships passing in the night. I thought we were like those 2 dogs on the Bugs Bunny cartoon series, back in the 60’s, Sam and George. When passing each other, they’d speak to one another with dead-pan expressions, “Hello Sam.” The other would reply, “Hello George.” (The scene isn’t as funny with me writing it as it was to watch it.)

Anyway... . As to the ”reasonableness” of my response; I’m trying not to be as critical of the “righties” on here as I have been. Let’s just say, I won’t start the insults. But, knowing how so many of them (present company excluded, of course) usually start off with insults, I’ll not be holding back on my replies to them. as we both admit, there are some in both sides to the argument that don’t know how to debate without resorting to insults right off the bat. They seem to forget, no debate is won by being the first to denigrate your opponent. All you’ve done is show that you have nothing of substance to add, hence, you’ve lost the debate/argument.

Here's the thing Rose... When you are actively supporting something for one reason and someone else says that you are supporting it for a different reason. Who do you suppose the real authority on that matter is?

If you KNOW your eyes are blue and some anonymous guy comes online and tells you they're brown, who do you think really knows the truth?

I just told you that I am an advocate of gun control and that I am NOT asking for a complete disarming of America. I think I know my own position, so yes, the idea that we ALL want to keep regulating until all guns are illegal IS in fact, a joke.

Now, maybe you're only referring to a subset. Well, I can't speak for ALL advocates of gun control. Maybe there ARE some "nuts" as you call them that DO want to disarm America. But if we keep defining political movements by their worst examples or our own paranoia, our democracy will not be able to accomplish anything.

As it is, of the 20 or so gun control advocates that I know personally, not ONE of them wants to disarm America. I'm not saying those people don't exist, I'm just getting tired of our perfectly reasonable arguments being ignored because people are obsessed with this idea that we are all part of a conspiracy to disarm America.

I only personally know of a few people who do want all guns banned. There are most definitely those who want them all banned and they are gaining ground. Even 10 years ago you’d never have heard of anyone calling for a ban on semi autos yet thats gaining traction. I’m not paranoid or fearful. I’m aware and I see the numerous parallels between them and animal rightists. Its very real whether you want to see it or not.

There are those who are in it to do some good - the everyday people. Then there are those running it who know exactly what they’re doing and how to temper their rhetoric and use people.
