Democrats are out of control.

I doubt very much that your statistics are valid, but for the sake of our discussion I will graciously go along with your point. That is just the kind of person I am, a very kind person. Anyway if we say that Democrats have higher degrees of education, I cannot see how that translates into critical thinking. Now I know you are shocked by my daring to disagree with you. It is quite likely that you yourself have a higher formal education level than I have achieved.
So lets us examine the true value of TODAY'S higher education degrees. Shall we ? At least during the reign of Obama the Great, a college degree has not often translated into money. We have perhaps the best educated waiters, fast food workers, retail part timers, and janitors in the history of the World. All the while these poor kids are burdened by huge college debt.
So from a financial viewpoint a college experience has been a bad bargain, but alas I digress. You were speaking of Critical Thinking. I am inferring that you are implying that Colleges teach critical thinking. If I have erred and that is not your implication, I apologize.
I say that a college education does the exact opposite and stifles critical thinking. I say that it is a rather recent phenomenon. I know what you will ask next, PROVE IT. Alas I can't prove it, but I will give you my bestest argument. Critical thinking is about having personal standards for testing and evaluating concepts and information.
I submit that today's universities stifle critical thinking and promote group think. Look at how Liberals on campuses limit free speech so as to limit access to new ideas. They call what they don't like hate speech, as if college age young adults are far too stupid to judge that for themselves. They ban Conservatives from speaking. They do not allow Real World testing of concepts and ideas. College Children are insulated from reality until they are forced into the cold cruel World of unemployment at their graduations.
By contrast, less educated Republicans are out working in the real world at a younger age. Likely their trade school education is showing real world value. Their ideas either fail or succeed far sooner than their better educated liberal Democratic Voting brethren.
I doubt very much that your statistics are valid, ... (

Of course you do doubt it, and we can guess why.
Now you're going to try and say only the republicans are the hard workers, ah yes their trade school shows more Real value. Your unrealistic views of the world are quite alarming to your mental state, which is this, everything bad comes from the left and everything good comes from the right, FYI that is literally unreasonable thinking, you need help.
College students are more in touch with reality, most take on a loan for their education, and are going to school while working, while living on their own sharing housing and bills with others, they're not taking a some damn vacation as you would like to believe, that is a very skewed perception you have.

In my own relation I have college educated and non college educated young adults. Give me the ones who were never brain Cloroxed in college anytime. The non College kids are far more practical and street smart. They had to be during the dark years of Obama when jobs were hard to come by. The college snowflakes are coming along, but it will take years for the real world to undo the brain damage they received in college.

You have to come to grips with the fact, that most people, the majority of Americans, oppose Trump.
He has never been popular and he is not popular today.
His approval rating has always been below 50%. He lost the popular vote. People donβt like him and donβt want him. He is a loser and a liar.
You can't prove the popular vote thing 'cause some of your "democratic" states threw their ballots away before they should have, or were even allowed to.

I don't think World Citizen could be any clearer (or lucid. LOL) He is asking how we feel about raging as we do over superficial things like ideology while our fellow humans are suffering from real issues like starvation, warfare and disease.
My answer to that question is that some of us don't give a crap about our fellow humans and are more concerned about winning ideological arguments. The problem is that obsessions with ideological arguments can often result in real consequences. For instance, millions of people are on the verge of being inflicted with the consequence of climate change which has been allowed to develop largely because ideological differences in the policy machine that dictates our response to global warming.

You can't prove that because some of your "conservative" media channels lie through their teeth. LOL - See? We can play that game too.
It's not that hard to catch either... Republicans have come up with too many theories and accusations about why the popular vote was miscounted to take any of it seriously. The one thing all these theories prove is that Republicans can't stand the idea that they could be outvoted.

Thank you for your interpretation of world citizen's post. I will respond to that interpretation. And use an old cliche type response in doing so.
When you're on an airplane, you are instructed to put your own oxygen mask on first. This parallels what is being said in several ways, but I'll address the most obvious. The United states gives away billions of taxpayer dollars each year to the very countries whose citizens are flooding our borders. I personally hold no animus against the individuals that come, hoping to make a better life. I do, however, hold animus against the political systems that A. In the countries of origin are clearly misusing these funds meant to alleviate human suffering in their nations, and B. Politicians in this country using the plight of this situation for political capital and nothing more.
If we, as a nation ( including our government) were taking the actions we take for altruism, we would no longer give ANY sums to these peoples' governments, and the corrupt governments would fail. We'd set up food and medical dispensaries in the countries with these funds to alleviate suffering or find another way to help the people directly.
Instead, our political systems choose to continue giving funds to these countries AND support coyotes, traffickers and drug dealers by refusing to enforce our immigration and naturalization laws.
This practice is creating an undue burden on our systems and taxpayers, and dragging us closer to the precipice of insolvency, and an inability to serve the needs of American citizens and businesses. If it continues NO ONE will have the safety net of US tax payers.

We have a Republic. Not a democracy. Each state should be represented. So each state's popular vote could be counted by giving each state one vote, based on their popular vote winner. The electoral college is designed to give more populous states a bigger impact. Perhaps that is wrong to do.
Washington, Lincoln and several other great Americans could not think because they didn't attend the Harvard/Hogwarts school of knowledge. The big critical thinkers of today are flipping hamburgers and I would guess a lot of them are Democrats.

A good thing that the average right wing voter is way above average. Your average left wing voter can be found among the dung heaps of Californian cities.
The only think that ranks high with right wing voter is their Ego.
In their world there is no room for any one but those with the same Ego.

I don't want to say I agree or disagree what you have said.
But I do like what you have said here.
There is a valuable lesson in there some where.
