I think he has to win that award..if you send our men and women to an unnecessary war..having them get killed or injured...also, killing hundreds of thousands of innocent lives...you have to get that title hands down..I'm sure there will be plenty of disagreement here..but please tell me why
There are other candidates. Hussein Obama tops the list for worst, but he's killed far less people than others.
Lyndon Johnson, another democrat, escalated the Vietnam war in which 58,220 American soldiers died and possibly over 4 million Vietnamese, Cambodians and Laotians were killed.
Richard Nixon's worst act was to open up trade with China, at a time when Chairman Mao was murdering Chinese citizens by the millions, and look at the great power China has become today, and the great threat to us and the rest of the world, because of an easily foreseen debacle. He knew what he was doing.
Peanut Farmer Carter quailed before the Iranian destruction of our embassy and capture of the staff, and rather than make war on Iran as we should have done immediately, he let our people rot for 400 days in dire captivity, in the hands of terrorists.
George Bush Sr. wasn't much to speak of and presided over a severe recession, as did his son later on, who took us into an oil war that likely caused the deaths of well over a million Iraqis and totally destabilized the country. In the end, we lost.
Bill Clinton got us out of the Bush recession but at the cost of increasing inflation. His worst move was getting a blow job in the White House and then lying about it, -and who wouldn't?- but the Republicans are the ones who yammered on about that for over a year and made a huge issue out of it, and in doing so poisoned the dignity of our Presidency forever.
So who's the worst President? In terms of sacrificing lives, it has to be Lyndon Johnson, Democrat. In terms of wrecking the country, it has to be Hussein Obama, Democrat.
The others just sucked at the job to varying degrees, but those two are my picks for worst.
