I know what you mean. Liberals are all for the truth .....as long as it tells them what they want to hear. The rest they just make up.
This was one division under the Office of Science and Technology Policy. Its duties are not going away, but are going to be handled by other divisions with that department. Will the day ever come when we get one honest post from you? The answer is assuredly, NO!
Political “science departments” are exactly the reason pure, or real, science is the last thing any politician wants as there’s no opportunity for them to make a case for whatever their agenda might be! Their entire reason for existing is to steal from you for own good and make you feel good about it. Science, gov’t style, is the perfect tool for building their version of the world.
"It's possible that the White House will handle these issues through staff in other divisions within the OSTP."
Oopsies! You missed that part!

Same thing I posted. He meant to miss it.
Anything that reduces the duplicity of our overblown government is a good move in my opinion. It’s not like they don’t have at least another 10 divisions working on the same issues....??
I think its a good move and would like to see a lot more of our Over blown, out of control government cut....

PeterS, know the facts instead of lying all the time.
The re-organization process is for effective control, for better performance and results while saving money. I am glad they are doing that. I would do or recommend the same. Fact of the matter is: This needs to be done on most of our federal agencies. It is so bloated, loaded with political useless dumb personnel, duplication of duties, and making mess out of it.
After Barack Obama won the presidential election, in 2009, he placed so many unqualified personnel who helped him in his campaign election. These people were not qualified.
GAO audit on 2010, reported that there were so many federal personnel duplication of duties. Until now these people are there. They could not be removed, or they'll sue you of discrimination.
I think people working for the Federal Government must require Civil Service Testing to select the fittest. Most of them receiving lucrative salaries, retirement benefits and other benefits. They create more problems, instead of helping and facilitating.
I'm very familiar with these problems. During the 1980's I've audited State Government, and encountered similar problems. The system is too political and stressful, that after 5 years, I gave up and moved to a university institution.
Good morning Missy! I hope you are having a fantastic day it is absolutely outstanding outside. Headed out for a long hike today and then home to do some more gardening.
Pair it down is an absolute must!

Fake news... A department gets reorganized and suddenly it's in the news as being 'cut'.
