By the numbers

If Obama or any other Democrat had these numbers the media would put him immediately on Mt. Rushmore.

But they give no such credit to Trump or the GOP from doing the near impossible – drastically reduce the dependency on government welfare programs.

The numbers are staggering, as you can see below from a new report, and the media and everyone should be celebrating.

This is a victory for America – the more people move off government assistance the better for them and for the country.

People need a purpose as much as a job and relying on the government for yours leads to a debilitating existence. From Insights and Issues:

Food Stamps. The Department of Agriculture reports that April enrollment in food stamps — which is officially called the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program — was down more than 308,000.

So far this year, SNAP enrollment has declined by nearly 1.2 million. And since Trump took office, the number of people collecting food stamps has plunged by more than 6.7 million.

Enrollment is now lower than it’s been since August 2009.

Disability. The number of workers on Social Security’s Disability Insurance program has sharply declined as well. It went from 88 million in January 2017 to 84.9 million as of May. That’s the lowest it’s been since August 2011.

Some of that decline is because beneficiaries who turn 65 shift over to regular Social Security. But the data also show that new disability applications are down. Average monthly applications for SSDI this year is 9% below where it was in 2016, government data show.

Medicaid. Enrollment in Medicaid also has dropped sharply since Trump took office — despite the fact that Virginia decided to expand its program under Obamacare, which added some 300,000 to its Medicaid rolls over those years.

As of this March, the total number of people on Medicaid and CHIP — the health insurance program for children — was down by 2.5 million.

Obamacare. The number enrolled in Obamacare has declined every year since Trump took office as well, and is now 1 million below where it was at the end of 2016.

Welfare. The number of those collecting welfare — either on the federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families or what are called “separate state programs” — has dropped by more than 800,000 under Trump.

He deserves credit for the largest deficit spending spree in American history, and the largest transfer of wealth to the top 1% in the history of the world. You're right, Trump isn't getting enough credit.

The liberal/leftists can take a hike off a cliff. I had to cut my employees 40% under their supreme Pooba. My wife & I sold everything we had except our house to subsidize the single parents until they could find jobs. I took no pay, not a dime out of the business until May, 2016, when I had been able to hire all our former employees back & added 75 by the end of the year, 81 in 2017, 124 in 2018, 88 so far in 2019.

If the nutcases don’t win in 2020, we have contracts to take us through 2025. If they win, those contracts won’t be worth a damn, so close to 500 people will be out of work. I’ll sell the equipment for probably $.05/lb. scrap, push the buildings down so they don’t turn into junkie parlors, donate the land, won’t be able to sell it.

This will be same scenario for a lot of us who own small, medium businesses. Most are my age, tired of the everything for free rhetoric, still angry about “we did not build our businesses”.

Which makes it a total disaster for the 'demcratic party' socialist/communists in opposition to every breath our President takes on this good green Earth.
