, is what you are referring to. In that statement, the "you" refers to the right as a whole, not the individuals that make up the right. People from the left, center and the right all have the choice to not be hateful, some make that choice, others do not. Even those that chose to try to be civil CAN be less than civil, especially if provoked by the opposition.
