Skott; You are such a moron 8-12 year old mentality. You talk about building roads. We in California pay 90 cent on the gal. But the money isn't spent on roads; $205 billion is being spent on high speed rail which is being put in the central valley going not to any major city. Tax subsidies will be in the billions annually. That's what demorats do to build roads. A lot of that money is coming from the Obumma Administration. Roads are not going to be built, say, in Nebraska, because people in Nebraska will be paying to build high speed rail in California.

1. I would love to not support muslim countries, but on the other hand, when they run out, we'll still have oil. Also, the pipeline oil will cost us as much per gallon as the other oil.(No savings).

Pure benefit, how many people would be employed? Let's not forget producing the pipes, fittings or transportation How much in tax would be collected not only from building the pipe line but the actual manufacturing of the product. The Canadian tar oil is dirty so likely no saving but what about our own oil, mostly sweet crude and cheap (as oil goes) to refine.

Let's say you have a cabin out in the woods, and you left to go to town for more supplies.
