It's not just the mainstream media that pisses me off, it's the mindless automatons who can't help themselves, they just have to repeat this drivel on a never-ending cycle of inanity. That's what drives me nuts. They don't even bother to take a look and see that what they're buying into is an outright lie.

So true. Sadly a lot of people have not yet realized that the media tends to fib. A lot. And often.

A video depicting a group of Catholic school students in Make America Great Again hats taunting Native American elder Nathan Phillips went viral on social media this weekend — and now, Phillips has come forward to describe the events leading up to the incident.
Phillips, a 64-year-old Marine, veteran of the Vietnam War, and longtime Native American activist from Michigan, was in Washington, D.C. on Friday afternoon for the Indigenous Peoples March. Phillips told the Detroit Free Press that the viral incident was sparked when a crowd of roughly 100 people, including the teenagers seen in the video, gradually splintered off from a March for Life event to confront a nearby group of Black Hebrew Israelites.
As the teenagers began to attack the Black Israelites — and Phillips noted that the Black Israelites also began to say “some harsh things” in retaliation and self-defense — Phillips made a spur of the moment decision to intervene and prevent the situation from escalating further. He physically placed himself between both groups, and the anger from the students, a group of mostly white, male teenagers, was then directed at him.

Here is the real story. That link by Larry creates a number of strawmen that it refutes which had nothing to do with the incident, like disputing the press reporting that the Native American was spit on, something never reported.

If you are bored you can watch it on any thread he posts...

YEP. But it's a silly thread, as soon as I saw it I didn't believe it, and Larry posted visual evidence to contradict the lefty talking points. All this trolling and yellow journalism is just to try to chip away at the conservative base. Getting boring and more stupid by the day.

Forest Gump catch phrase
It's rare for either side to agree with contrary evidence...
These 'hate mongering' stories are really below most people's notice...
Worst case scenario: Some boys were rude to a vietnam vet/elder/ indian...
Disgusting in my opinion...
Though not what I saw in the video...
What is truly sad is it would have been many on the left who would demonize these soldiers back during the vietnam war/conflict... And now it's a rallying cry...

Lol, it is not MY version: it is a report of facts.

I know. What was done to those boys, most of whom were drafted, upon their return was appalling!!!!!!!!!

"It's rare for either side to agree with contrary evidence..." That sentence says absolutely nothing. There is no contrary evidence. There is the attempt to spin what happened with pathetic alternative facts and the hard evidence of a video record. You guys always dispute the nuisance factor of truth when it contravenes your Tribal Scream. And the worst case scenario is not that "Some boys were rude to a vietnam vet/elder/ indian..." but rather the mind-set of a group proudly wearing MAGA-hats without shame in attacking people of color. What's wrong is wrong. Groping around in the past to excuse their actions by the actions of others is terrible logic and cheap.
