I agree, the lazy ones are jealous of the working people who make big bucks.
I have been paralyzed from the waist down close to 53 years now. Yet I work 7 days a week in my office. I employee close to 180 people here on my tree farm. Most all were ex-military homeless vets.
We sell baled pinestraw to lawn care companies and Christmas trees. When Grandpaw first started hiring homeless veterans at first they refused to take a paycheck because they were provided living quarters and three hot meals a day.
Grabdpaw and his bookkeeper had to force them to take minimum wages so he wouldn't get in trouble with the IRS. They finally agreed since most were drawing VA checks.
Each year the minimum wage goes up their pay goes up. Social Security is deducted and paid to the Social Security administration esch January.
My six truck drivers make $10.00 per hours.
Even with all the expenses paid we were able to buy a 510 acres 1/4 of a mile from the tree farm that just finished clear cutting the salable timber on it and I paid cash for the land. Now my tree farm has 3 070 acres.
10 acres around the farm house will be used for employees and storsge of equipment. We will start removing stumps that will be ground up along with other branches for chips to be sold to the paper mill.
100 acres will be disk up and fertilized for spring planting of Christmas Trees. The process will take 5 years to plant 100 acres each year because the best trees are 6 years old when harvested.
You see even if I set on my behind I am working my brain and making plenty of money.
I probably pay more income tax than most people here make.
God bless and protect America the land of opportunity for those that work to earn it.
I DO thank God for you and all vets. as I am one also.

When I was young I worked at a trout hatchery that also had a tree farm. That was some of the hardest physical work I did in my life. I remember dragging trees until I could not close my hands any longer. I totally respect the way you make your living and the opportunities you give to Veterans and others. I wish you continued good health and prosperity.

Having seen how businesses over the last 10 years, when the economy was bad, used that as an opportunity to disrespect their employees, I salute the relationship you and your employees have maintained.
Only now, under Trump is the equation between management and labor finally shifting back to labor. Obama's brain dead supporters have no clue how business and labor interact. I have been on both sides. I was a supervisor and as part of management I had to deal with a powerful union and saw the abuses. I was also on the other side in a union when because the economy tanked, the power was all with the company.
We are just at the beginning stages of a healthy economy. By that I mean labor mobility. Companies need to compete for workers. Minimum wage and other government regulations are a poor substitute for labor mobility.
If a company does not pay a fair wage or mistreats it's workers they can quit, but that is only a viable threat if there are plenty of jobs to go to. For 10 years, quitting was not an option for most workers. If you had a somewhat good job you had to stay there because the economy sucked and Obama's answers only made things worse.
If Trump can continue his course with tax cuts and fair trade agreements with China and our other trading partners, we will return to a 1950s style economy where job mobility pushes wages up and companies that do not respect their employees will only get the very lowest quality of worker.

Another voice of reality speaks.
Dim-O-Crats have never learned you can not spend more money than you have and stay in buisness very long.
They also don't understand or care when the force a shut down of the government lt doesn't hurt the president, Congress, military their pay continues. It's the workers and their family and children that suffer.
These husbands and wives will rember this when they go to vote in the next election. Then the Dim-O-Crats will scream the Republicans stold the election or the Russians interference. They are unable to accept the blame for their own mistakes.
