You know the Senate, then who is going to take the blame again???? Most intelligent people want our government to work again.

What planet have you been living on the past 30 years - Government doesn’t work right even when it is ‘open’.

Only 1/4 of the cost base of the government is currently shuttered.

In my view, it can stay shuttered permanently.

That clueless goon, has most probably benefited on the government dole, whether it be welfare or a easy salary sitting on his ass, that could be why he said recently that " a lot of good people in government" are being hurt with this partial shutdown, and more conclusive of why he couldn't care less about normal citizens. His Most favorite charitable organizations are death clinics for the innocent unborn.

No, he can't. And the Congress cannot force the President to sign any legislation either. How far do you think this bill will go if it leaves the Senate?

I agree, I'm tired of the whole thing, from rigid attitudes to talking about the damn wall, figure it out and move on already. This is what happens when there aren't adults in the room.

Intellegent people would want to put up the wall on our southern border. Fools and people who are infected with KURU will mock and scoff at the good sense of securing our border.

Bravo! Well said. I could not agree more. How can we possibly secure our safety as a nation if we don't have the faintest idea who is breaking into our country? The fact that peoples from countries to our South want to come here and get on the dole is an outrage to each and every working American. According to statistics the immigrants that are coming have 63% of their numbers on some form of handouts--when they have been here 10 years or more, that number climes to 70%. Just how does this prosper, or do our nation any good . . . this great sucking sound of our treasure being given to those who have no legal right? The only benefit to anyone is that they will end up voting Democrat, and thus the sucking sound will become louder and louder.
