Sorry to hear that. Maybe it's your taste buds that have changed or the meds your on. What do you do to make food taste good? I'm referring to spices and things like bacon fat? My doc told me to cut way back and I'm trying but can't eat eggs without a little salt. Trying the Keto diet and doing a lot better and have lost about 20 pounds so far. Only 40 more to go, ha. I can do vegan for about three days before I have to have a chicken breast or hamburger patty. When I crave something crunchy I eat lime flavored pork skins, it's low cal, no salt and satisfies me. Thank God for stevia when I crave something sweet. Even my sugar is doing much better. It used to spike to 3 and 400 and now rarely gets to 200. Just to let you know you have been in my thoughts and prayers for a good while. Hope it's doing you some good.

I am on an intermittent fasting diet. Most days I skip breakfast and lunch and eat supper at 6 pm. Supper is whatever I want and as much as I can hold. That includes beef, pork, poultry, and fish with appropriate sides. Weight is coming down and blood glucose is staying in control 83 to 139. A1Cs are holding at 5.7, 5.6. If it wasn't for the congestive heart failure making me retain fluids my weight would have dropped like a stone.

The Keto diet is an extremely low carbohydrate diet. Dr Richard Bernstein recommended a diet of six grams of Carbohydrates for breakfast, twelve grams of carbs for lunch and supper. You could eat as much fat and protein as you liked. This basically eliminated all P foods (Pasta, potatoes, parsnips etc ) almost all root vegetables and some other foods which are too high in Carbohydrates.

Either you have no choice about waiting to eat until 6 pm or you've have great willpower. We have about the same glucose and A1Cs.

I don't know if this might make a difference and I'm no doctor, so run this by your doctor and see what he/she says.

Powdered Alum, it's used in cooking some dishes and can be found at the grocery store.

We had a very valuable horse once and we foundered him which may be caused by several different things. Usually, it's caused in show horses from overeating or eating too fast. It causes the center of their hooves called the frog to drop so that a horse is walking on the frog instead of the hoof. It's very painful for the horse.

An old neighbor heard my dad talking about it and said I know how to cure that if you want to know. He said to put a tablespoon full of alum in a couple of handfuls of his feed. It'll draw the frog back into place. He also said to put our horse in our pond and tie him to a tree for eight hours. This would allow the feet to be in soft mud and he would be in less pain, plus it would reduce the fever in his feet and legs.

It worked like a charm. Once a horse founders it easier for him to founder again and after the third time they are usually crippled for life. Our horse foundered twice again and it cured him each time completely. So I don't know if it would help your case but it was about reducing fluid and might. I know your not a horse, ha. But thought it might be worth sharing.

If you decide to run it by your doctor after he/she stops laughing, let me know what they say. If it won't affect your meds I'd try a quarter teaspoon just out of curiosity. It might make you pee like a Russian racehorse and like Trump once told blacks, what have you got to lose.

I am on an overload of diuretics to the point that it leeches out most electrolytes from the cells. This results in severe cramping and pain in the hands feet and legs with the nerves causing the hands to distort and twist. Very painful and unpleasant. I would be wary of Alum, it contains aluminum which is implicated in Alzheimer disease. The formula for Alum is KAl(SO4)2 - Potassium Aluminum Sulfate. I know it used to be used in pickling to maintain crispness but we did a lot of things in the old days that we wouldn't ever do now. There are some forms of this compound which are toxic.

How long have we been waring against Progressives and which group radical Islam or the Progressive philosophy is the bigger threat to our Republic? Just an idle thought but before you toss it out best consider what radical progressivism has already accomplished. For example 9 out of 10 universities teach limitations to legitimate free speech.

Well, I knew you would research it and make up your own mind. Didn't know about the aluminum. Sorry to hear about the hands and nerves. Wish it was something that could have helped you. The only thing else I can think of is Israel. I subscribe to several newsletters and Israel is off the charts in coming up with new meds and treatments for everything. They always rise to the top like cream. Stem cells are pretty awesome and expensive. And with that, I'm out of ideas for now. Hope you have a sweet good looking female nurse with a sense of humor.

When you wake up from major surgery they are all beautiful. The nerve problems are induced by the chemicals I have to take to get rid of fluids. All part of the downhill slide into oblivion although it seems the sled is picking up speed lately.

Two things which might upset you.

Papa Bush was a world-class major drug dealer. Hence the name Poppy Bush. That's the reason we have been there all this time.

Afganistan is the only country that has a lot of very valuable unique mineral resources.

That's why we have been there. The same thing happened in Nam. Now think of all the lives lost for the deep state criminals. And look at Trump with new eyes. He is taking it all down. Hillary wasn't supposed to lose. This also explains Muller and all the rest.

Only had one surgery, appendicitis at age 14. I woke up to a mean looking nurse changing my sheets. She thought she was a magician. She undid the four corners, rolled me on my side, rolled the sheet up to my body, went to the other side, got two good handholds and jerked them out from under me. That was the first time I ever thought about smacking a woman. There had to have been a better way.

I don't believe in oblivion, the body does not the soul. I highly recommend you have a little talk with my best friend even if your head says it's all hogwash, your heart and gut knows different. I would be no kind of friend if I didn't say that. I've seen too many miracles with my own eyes to believe otherwise. Hope you open the door an invite Him in.
