Trump blasts 'little Adam Schitt' on Twitter

I read this article and immediately thought of just how hypocritical Trumpet’s tweet was. It’s okay for him to insult, demean, defame, and lie about anyone he wants to. But, let someone say or do something he doesn’t like and all hell breaks loose. Not only will he do his character assignations on Twitter, he’ll also go in TV, radio, and any other media outlet he can think of to continue his barrages ‘ad nausium.’

Recently, he even went so far as to pull a reporter’s WH press pass because the reporter kept asking questions of Trumpet that Trumpet wouldn’t answer. Then, in their to make matters worse for the reporter, Sarah “Lie-a-lot” Huckabee, released a “video” that was supposed to prove that the reporter actually hit a WH intern’s arm when she attempted to take the mic away from the reporter. Of course, the video was quickly proven to have been “doctored” by an ultra-right-wing conspiracy theorist.

Now, CNN and Acosta are sueing the WH over their actions. A federal court ordered the press pass returned to Acosta and a set of rules be set in place before any other reporters can have their press passes rescinded. Oddly, even Trumpet’s favorite TV entertainment station, Fox Emtertainment News, co-signed a letter written by several media outlets, telling the WH that their actions were wrong and unconstitutional.

Trumpet mocking Schiff’s name isn’t much of a surprise, given Trumpet’s propensity to insult others he doesn’t like. It’s just this time, Trumpet used a modified swear-word as his “insult of choice.”

I sincerely hope that once all of the newly elected Dems get sworn into office in the House, that they will use all of their legislative powers to rein-in this fake, cowardly, lying, criminal, looser of a president. Hopefully, too, Mueller will finish his investigation into the 2016 election and we can all see just how much illegality Trump and his team has committed and is committing.

For a political party that says it prides itself on following and upholding the Constitution, it sure isn’t afraid of breaking laws and overstepping lawful bounds like Trumpet and his Executive Branch has done and is doing; and a Legislature that hasn’t been afraid to relinquish its oversight of the Executive Branch, which allows Trumpet to get away with his illegal activities.

Anyway, the article is below.

WHITE HOUSE

By QUINT FORGEY | 11/18/2018

Rep. Adam Schiff is poised to take the helm of the powerful House Intelligence Committee. Rep. Adam Schiff — along with “Crooked Hillary Clinton,” “Cryin’ Chuck Schumer” and “Crazy Maxine Waters” — has long been a target of mockery on Donald Trump’s Twitter feed. But in a post Sunday, the president may have coined his crudest nickname yet for a political rival.

“So funny to see little Adam Schitt (D-CA) talking about the fact that Acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker was not approved by the Senate,” the president wrote online, “but not mentioning the fact that Bob Mueller (who is highly conflicted) was not approved by the Senate!”

Schiff fired back 35 minutes later, quoting the president's post and writing on Twitter: “Wow, Mr. President, that’s a good one. Was that like your answers to Mr. Mueller’s questions, or did you write this one yourself?”

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether the president’s misspelling of Schiff’s name was intentional. The office of first lady Melania Trump, who has championed anti-cyberbullying efforts through her “Be Best” initiative, also did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Schiff, who is poised to take the helm of the powerful House Intelligence Committee after Democrats recaptured the chamber from Republicans in the midterm elections, appeared Sunday morning on ABC’s “This Week.” The California congressman spoke about Trump’s decision to appoint former U.S. Attorney Matthew Whitaker to lead the Justice Department after Attorney General Jeff Sessions was ousted earlier this month.

Whitaker, who most recently worked as Sessions’ chief of staff, has previously criticized special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and potential collusion with the Kremlin by the Trump campaign. In his new role as acting attorney general, Whitaker is charged with overseeing that probe.

“The biggest flaw from my point of view is that he was chosen for the purpose of interfering with the Mueller investigation,” Schiff told journalist Martha Raddatz of Whitaker’s appointment, which he called “unconstitutional.”

“He auditioned for the part by going on TV and saying he could hobble the investigation,” Schiff said, adding: “We will expose any involvement he has in it. He needs to know that if he takes any action to curb what Mr. Mueller does, we’re going to find out about it.”

Trump has been known to delete some tweets with typos or obvious factual errors, firing off amended posts within minutes. But since referencing Schiff just after 1 p.m., the president has not corrected the spelling of the congressman’s name, and has gone on to tweet about South American migrants and rebroadcasts of his Sunday interview with Fox News anchor Chris Wallace.

The president’s apparent dig at one of the top Democratic lawmakers in Congress comes as the White House has complained about a lack of civility among members of the media — specifically CNN’s Jim Acosta, whose security pass was yanked by Secret Service personnel following a dispute involving a news conference earlier this month.

When a federal judge on Friday ordered the White House to reinstate Acosta’s pass, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement: “There must be decorum at the White House.”

In an interview later Friday on Fox News, Sanders said that “if certain reporters like Jim Acosta can’t be adults, then CNN needs to send somebody in there who can be.”

Trump, in his interview with Fox News’ Wallace on Sunday, said the White House was in the process of drafting new protocols for conduct by reporters at news conferences.

“We’re writing them now,” the president said. “We’ll have rules of decorum.”

Serious question; Schiff has been hounding Trump daily for two years. He has been accusing and claiming to have evidence of Presidential malfeasance but refuses to present any evidence.

How long is a person supposed to put up with demeaning remarks, innumerable accusations against him and his family, supported by a total failure to support any of his allegations of personal criminality and wrong-doing with any kind of proof before hitting back? To me, "little Adam Schitt" falls far short of what he has done to the Trump family.

What was tragically funny, was the fact that many GOP candidates ( including incumbents ) ran on a platform of "values". and supporting Trump at the same time.

How many murders of unborn babies has Trump supported? You talk values and yet support the most abhorrent act in the history of mankind. That one issue alone makes all leftist democrats arguments moot.

Freedom of speech means everyone has to right to say whatever he wants it does not mean that everyone has the right to be heard. Also, the Muller investigation is illegal because there must first be evidence of a crime then there is an investigation. As of yet we gave no evidence of a crime. We have Maxine running around saying impeach with no charges filed. We had accusations made against Judge Kavanaugh with no evidence at all. He's already assumed guilty (that's the good ole American wat)!! Every time there is an election when the Republican wins the democrats have all kinds of late ballots re-counts and boxes of votes that somehow were not counted. If Trump said anything against Adam Schiff it probably was too little too late. I think Democrats are unamerican! All of them!!

Fundamentally, I agree with you except for one small item. Freedom of speech does not mean anyone can say anything one wants. It means that one can say whatever one wants so long as it is said responsibly. No personal social right can exist without a commensurate personal responsibility.

JW,
Schiff hasn’t released any “evidence” because of one, simple reason: He’s not in charge of the Committee, the GOPTPers are. And, THEY won’t allow his evidence to be made public. (I strongly, suggest you look-up the various rules for the House and Senate Committees and how they function.) Once Schiff has been put in charge of the Committee (when the new Congress convenes with the Dems in charge), he will have the authority to request and/or release any info that isn’t considered “classified” by the Justice Department and/or the several Intelligence agencies. Or, info the WH might declare as “privileged.” Additionally, for the past 2 years, the GOPTP Committee Chairman - and the WH - have used the “national security” badge as a primary excuse to avoid putting info out to the public.

All of the foot-dragging by the Administration and the GOPTPers in charge of the committees involved with investigation by Mueller’s team could be charged with obstruction of justice simply because of their actions designed to protect Trumpet from criminal charges. Had it not been for certain GOPTP committee chairmen and party leadership, intentionally using lies and deceit to thwart the investigations into Trumpet, Russia and Trumpet’s infamous breaking of the Emollients Clause of the Constitution, Trumpet would’ve been impeached a year ago.

But, party before country and billions of dollars spent to save Trumpet have allowed this national nightmare to continue. Hopefully, once the Dems take control we can get to the bottom of Trumpet’s plethora of secret illegalities.

Trumpet calls Mueller’s investigation a “witch hunt.” To me, if he’s as innocent as he claims he is, he would/should want as through and complete an investigation as can be done. If not, why not? To me, only a guilty man would want any investigation, that could prove his innocence, to stop. Common sense tells us that.

If Trumpet and other GOPTPers now want the investigation to stop “in order to save money,” they need to be reminded that the Clintons have been under one investigation or another for about 30 years. How’s that “saving money?” Obama was investigated by the GOPTP controlled Congress 6 out of his 8 years in office. How was that “saving money?”

The GOPTPers have already added $1.6 TRILLION to the national debt with their tax cut for the rich. Now, all of a sudden, they’re concerned about “saving money?!”

Oh sure! Right after cows learn to fly!

Adam Schiff is an arrogant, sniveling, self-serving twit. He hasn't the brains God gave a slug nor the balls of a tse tse fly. The little schitt buzzes around the president like a toy poodle snapping at the heels of a rogue elephant. Somebody oughta rack that miserable 8-ball and break his ass.

You need to read your Bible (NIV), nwtk2007. In Numbers, look up “Test of the unfaithful wife.” In the story, you’ll read about a wife who’s merely been accused of adultery by her husband (no proof needed), and what she has to go through to prove her innocence or find her guilty. The “trial” she’s forced to undergo should make you cringe. If she’s guilty and is pregnant by her lover, the poisonous potion she’s made to drink will cause her to abort her baby, killing it and making her sterile.

Now, nwtk2007, here’s God, Himself, ordering the abortion of an innocent and UNBORN baby. ,While we can’t understand God’s will in all matters, according to you and other anti-abortion people, God, Himself, is a murderer in this case. I’d like to see you bring God to trial over something He commanded be done.

So yes, I’ll talk values to you, any day. And, while I don’t condone abortion, per se, I won’t try to tell any woman what she can and can’t do with her body. If a woman chooses to abort her baby, (IMHO, no later than the 1st trimester), that decision is between her and God. (However, I reference you back to the Bible story previously mentioned). I, also, believe that misogyny, lying, being unfaithful, stealing, being a racist, being a scammer, knowingly breaking the law, and cheating, are all matters of “values.” Unfortunately, Trumpet is representative of all of the “negative values” I just listed. For people to flock to such a man as he, only shows me how gullible so many people are.

For a long time, the Israelites clamored for a king to lead them; so they could be like their neighbors. And, for a long time, God told them that He was all they needed. Still, they continually asked for a king. Finally, God gave them a king. Some kings were good, but, some were very bad and God allowed very bad things to happen to Israel, even to be split into 2 separate kingdoms so His people would experience the result of their disobedience to God.

To me, Trump is one of those “bad kings.” The fact that he behaves like he’s a king is bad for us as a country. We fought a revolution to get away from one bad king. Now, we elected someone who believes he can run the whole show? If that’s so, then why is he such a screw-up? Why does he feel the need to say over 7 provable lies a day? Why, with a GOPTP-controlled Congress, hasn’t he fulfilled on his promises? He boasts of making great deals only he can make. Well, North Korea is still building its nuclear misiles. Do you still believe NK is “no longer a nuclear threat,” like Trumpet proclaimed? Here, in Tennessee, Marsha Blackburn (GOPTP) claimed every Tennessean saw a $6000 a year increase from Trumpet’s tax overhaul. She also said she was going to Washington to support Trump. I haven’t seen the first penny. Is taking babies from their mothers at the border a good value to you? Is calling the free press “an enemy of the people,” something good? Is that what you call having “values?” If so, I feel sorry for you.

I do enough sinning in my own life without adding hypocrisy to my list of sins. And, I’m reminded every day just how big the log is in my own eye. As such, I need not try to tell another about the splinter in theirs; unlike too many other so-called Christians do.

And, yes, I’m a Christian, too. I suppose our beliefs differ on the parts where Jesus tells us to “care for the strangers in the land, as we were strangers once, too.” To “love our neighbors as ourselves.” “Those without sin cast the first stone.” “It’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.” There are several more, but it’s getting late and I need to go to bed.

As for God, I don't need God to know that abortion is an irresponsible way to handle an unwanted pregnancy. And to be honest, maybe women should have that say, as you seem to think. My best point regarding this is the indiscriminate use of abortion as birth control. Many women have had several abortions and continue to have sex unprotected. That is stupid and I think you probably know it.

As for the "good book,", God has no excuse for his atrocities. It's beyond reasoning and the Bible is filled with his.

By the way, you lack an objective view of Trump. Your position that he is a racist is a prime example. Wanting to stop illegal immigration is not racist. Wanting to stop immigration for the countries singled out the the Obama admin for terrorist involvement is not a Muslim ban and is not racist. Minorities are doing very well under the Trump admin and that cannot be denied.
