It really hurt the Democrats to loose 58,000 tombstone votes.

"The Clinton balanced budget was the results of the Republicans "Balanced Budget Act" that made the Clinton administration operate with a balanced budget. Next year the Democrats gained control and their FIRST ACT was do away with the balanced budget act. Then it was spend, spend, spend and it is the same now."

With all the international uproar about Saudi hitmen murdering a Washington Post writer, Trump hasn’t even gotten around to appointing ambassadors to Turkey and Saudi Arabia. He should turn off his television an hour or so each day.

Do you want me to contact President Trump and submit your name as an ambassador? There are two jobs available. 🤔🙄🙂😁😀😎

For being so unsuited and flawed, Trump sure is accomplishing a lot. If he is as unsuited as you say, are we seeing a supernatural miracle? If you discount that he knows what he is doing, how else do you explain it?

Though today's politicians may still use the term, public servants; I think we all can agree who most politicians serve is themselves.

As for retaining people appointed by the past administration, it seems history repeated itself so far as the newly appointed President Roosevelt and President Trump. When Trump did not make a clean sweep and accept the resignations of fall Obama appointees, asking instead for each to be loyal to their oaths; he was cautioned it was a mistake. In this case he HAD made a mistake as again and again those he left in their jobs used their positions to undermine the running of the government.

AS for Roosevelt learning humility, you must not have studied him as much as you think. Was the act of organizing a revolution in Columbia to take Panama away and set up a favorable government to build the canal, and even oversee the writing of their constitution, an act of humility? Was it the act of humility to start his own party to attempt to come back to the presidency? On the other hand, greatness is more often associated with people of strong will and large ego.

Roosevelt had many good and bad qualities. Don't get me wrong. I think Teddy Roosevelt was a GREAT president. And I've long seen Trump as comparing closely in many ways to him. Both on Teddy's positive characteristics and his negative.
For being so unsuited and flawed, Trump sure is ac... (show quote)

If President Trump turns out to be half as good as Teddy Roosevelt, President Trump will still be a very successful president.

Compared to who he replaced, President Trump is a GREAT PRESIDENT.

You make some solid points here, JoyV. But, you make the same mistake so many make on a cut 'n paste posting by myself or others: You take the words of the author, in this case Mrs. Goodwin, as my/others words. I did not attempt to go beyond the article as written. In any event, I also believe Theodore Roosevelt was a GREAT president and rightfully belongs on Mr. Rushmore with the other presidential giants represented on that national monument.

Again, it's not about me and I ain't trying to live up to your definition of " better than that "

Just give me the name of who can beat Trump and be a strong leader with the American citizens as a priority.

WHO IS YOUR LEADER ?

Let's see, President Trump DID try to keep former administration appointees, and show a willingness to work with the holdovers. Then it started surfacing that Obama had weaponized our government agencies to target the left's political opponents. And these Obama appointees and operatives, along with the Democrat Party and their accomplices and collaborators in the abusively biased media were actively engaged in the worst corruption and abuse of power scandal in modern American history. On almost a daily basis the Obama administration is being exposed for both insidious and blatant efforts at sedition. And because they are being exposed, they are saying and doing ANYTHING to muddy the waters and reduce the fall-out from the exposure of their corruption and abuse of power. The Democrats are far worse than just sore losers. They NEEDED Hillary to win. She was supposed to bury all this corruption and abuse of power. If Obama, Hillary, the Democrat Party and the media had managed to cheat Hillary into the White House, the American people would NEVER have known about all this treachery, and this country would have been "fundamentally transformed" into a banana republic police state indeed. This country today is more prosperous than it has been in decades, (manufacturing jobs that Obama mockingly claimed would NEVER be seen again are thriving, companies are moving back to the US, instead of out of the US,) we are safer from foreign threats, (Obama's JV team ISIS, that Obama said we would have to learn to live with,) was decimated within the first 6 months of the Trump administration because he made an effort to do so, (protecting America and the world from Islamic terrorism was something Obama showed little to no interest in.) Maybe the Democrats and the media need to stop trying to overturn the results of the last election and quit trying to unseat a duly elected president and do what is best for the country instead of being poisoned by hate.

No need.

Teddy Roosevelt is already one of the four faces on Mr. Rushmore. In order, left-to-right, they are Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt and Lincoln.

Why not? Before Trump names Kanye West to Saudi Arabia and Alex Jones to Turkey.

I did no cutting and pasting. But when someone posts an article, unless they state they disagree with it or portions of it; it can be taken as the poster's intent.

The idea that the Oh-shit-ma economy was anything but a disaster is laughable, I love the leftist, socialist attempts to rewrite FACTS by fantastic treks into fictional narrative with overwhelming HARD evidence against them. The only reason the economy didn’t collapse was private investment would not let his group of Communist seditionist destroy it. Trump has done a good job of unwinding their destructive agenda. The proof is easy to find, just ask any company that has expanded and opened up their HR department.

The Saudie Arabias refused to except Kanye Wast, they want Hillary lying Clinton. They have plans for her.

Turkey rejects Alex Jones and request Michelle Obama so they can train her how a Muslim wife should act.

The Socialist Democrats don't want FACTS they prefer fiction. Or quotes from "Dreams of my Father"
