I was pleasantly surprised by her speech. It was well thought out and sounded sincere. In all of the BS about sex and alcohol, perhaps the more important issue of the Judges views on our 4th Amendment rights and Due Process was overlooked, perhaps intentionally by both sides of the isle.

Welcome to OPP. I believe that Collins, for once, made the right decision. While Maine used to be a fairly Conservative state, there have been large numbers of people from NY, MA, DE, etc, moving there. Collin's votes, I am sure, are reflective of the viewpoints that she hears from her constituents. I saw much the same thing happening in Colorado when I lived there.
