He did NOT rule to obstruct the 17 year old minor's abortion. He was on a three judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit which overturned the ruling by Judge Tanya S Chutkan to release an illegal alien minor who spoke no English from detention without providing her any adult sponsor or supervision. Chutkan's ruling would have turned her out on the street to fend for herself and get an abortion. Instead the panel ruled she must be turned over to an adult sponsor's care from where she could get an abortion, and that finding her a sponsor be expedited (so that if she decided to go ahead with an abortion, the less time used up the better). This was expedited and the girl was turned over to an adult sponsor and got an abortion.

Of the tree judges on the appeal's court, Kavanaugh and Karen L. Henderson, ruled in favor of overturning Chutkan's ruling; while the third judge, Patricia Millett, was in favor of Chutkan's ruling of turning the kid out on her own.

The case wasn't about an abortion but about the previous judges ruling to turn the girl out on the street.

Not only are you wrong about the abortion, but you are wrong about his ruling being overturned by an appeals court AND that it was Kavanaugh who was on the appeals court in the first place.
