For someone who calls any explanation over 100 words "blathering" that seems like a strange request. I'll try to keep this simple for you.
Let's start with what moldyoldy actually wrote... "...there
WILL be many counts..." That's called future-tense. In other words, those "counts" don't exist yet and since they don't exist yet, there is no court assignments. I hope you're not offended that I'm pointing out your poor reading comprehension.
In any case, I find it hard to believe you are so oblivious to the long list of potential crimes that moldyoldy is suggesting will result in a long list of counts, but then I have to remember you're lack of reading comprehension, so I'll try to put this in terms you might understand... In fact, I'll just limit the list to a few examples related to the emoluments clause of the U.S.Constitution.
1. See Trump inviting diplomats to meetings in his hotels and resorts so he can make money in direct violation of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution. (that would be multiple counts right there)
2. See Trump rake in at least $175 million annually from commercial tenants like the state-owned Industrial & Commercial Bank of China in direct violation of the emoluments clause in the U.S. Constitution. (again multiple counts)
This was never a problem with previous presidents because they all divested before taking office. Trump really hasn't... His somewhat incompetent lawyers have suggested that he can satisfy the emoluments clause by putting his son's in charge of daily business, but Eric Trump still delivers monthly reports to daddy and Trump still has full access to the profits. So the attempt is ludicrous and this conflict of interest is on the top of the list for many of his opponents putting together the case for impeachment.
But I guess that's just blathering, right?
