A long line of Sambos have shown up.

Led by Bill and his pet pig Hillary, the guests sitting onstage and others present were plucked right out of the monkey barrel.

From Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to Whoopi the sheboon, they have all shown up for the cameras.

Most disgusting is the gaggle of shyster preachers that are stinking up the place.

Aretha deserved better.

That is why I didn't tune in because I knew all the usual race baiters and camera hogs who only want to pretend they are still down for the struggle while doing nothing but enrich themselves at the expense of others. It is time for them to fade away with their ill gotten gains and enjoy them while they can because God is coming for them sooner than they would like.

My sisters and I were very fortunate growing up, our parents had a wide range of music tastes and the records. We listened to Gospel, Country, Bluegrass, Big Band and Soul. Soul is what I loved the best. The Platters, Fats, Muddy Waters, Miss Etta and Nat King Cole. Then the sixties, here comes Cooke, Gaye and Redding. Then Aretha. The lady could sing it all. Gospel, Country, Pop, Soul and even Opera. In my opinion she is the best female singer ever. I do agree that it was turned into a circus and photo op for all those you listed and more. I do find the adjectives that you used to describe these people offensive and divisive. I don't know what race you are and race doesn't really play in, because it cuts both ways. I am White. I grew up in the Alabama cotton fields in the sixties. Worked row by row with black kids. Like my Dad would say, we are all the same, poor. I remember the news reports of the assassinations of the Kennedys, the Detroit and Watts riots and the moon landing. All on a black and white TV. I also remember Dr. King and his speeches. These speeches, the Bible and being through two wars have led me to understand that as long as people use these kind of adjectives to describe others nothing in this country will change and only fuel more hatred. Killing the message of the Bible and Dr. King.
