I beg to disagree but slick Clinton didn't balance the budget. The Republican party had control of the House and Congress and passed a balanced budget amendment FORCING Clinton to operate with a balanced budget. The first in many, many years.

Once the Democrat gained controll the FIRST bill they passed was to do away with the balanced budget amendment then it has been spend, spend, spend and it has never stopped.

As another native Texan I must say that I am absolutely appalled and embarrassed on behalf of the USA each and every day.
