I'm not going to cut him any slack at all. He is well liked by all of his fellow POW's in Nam remember the ones that gave him the nickname songbird. He was the only POW that gained weight in Nam. He may be a good father to his daughter but his actions and his speech and allegiances leave much to be desired. I just can' do it his father is the one that got him the breaks that he got not him. Those POW's wanted to do something else but his daddy got him off the hook.

One would th8ink that he would try and be nicer since he is getting closer to meeting his maker. But then again he wasn't all that sweet to the other POW's in Nam was he?

Hi full, I think he’s doing all he can to promote the book he’s writing..The more publicity for him now, the better for the book when done...

Pretty pathetic..

Bahmer brings up some issues anout McCain’s POW time as well.. I was on the fence about his real doings and still am... But seeing his obstruction going on I’m having less respect for him!!

Those [points were brought up when he and Sara Palin were running for President and Vice President and they were brought up by those that were in the POW camp in Nam with him at the time and it wasn't at all flattering for McCain in the least.

I understand.. Also remember those comments... Some seemed pretty infatic about their comments over Nam... I’ve read many in here when McCain’s name is mention that tell pretty much the same things about him... Yet, others absolutely deny them too.,

I have little respect for him and yet he served and was captured.... Therefore I will just leave it alone .....

I knew a couple of Navy aviators who served with him.........he was always considered a f*** up but due to his POW experience, they chose not to talk about it.
