BTW, Permi, what would you have done differently in the Summit negotiations, since you guys on the Left are so far ahead in the area of North Korean negotiations in the past. Oh, that's right. You never even got to the table, or talked to Kim, or called him on the phone to suggest a meeting. or got even close to first base on any level of negotiations. You have some nerve knocking Trump's results when you guys have accomplished NOTHING for 50 years. Wow! The nerve... the guys who have no clue are always the ones telling you 'how you should have done it'.
BTW, Permi, what would you have done differently i... (

Back up a bit spin,,, I am backing trump on this, even with the evils of his administration, I still see us as the good buys and I would like this to turn out well..
While I am not for the horrible orange drama queen, I am for America and some move toward better relations on the peninsula would be great..
But looking back, we see that the 94 agreement with Clinton did not hold up.. The agreement with Bush jr hardly lasted weeks if I remember correctly..
For President Obama, when he was invited the past record demanded some concession by NK to prove intent. That was not forthcoming so that negotiation never took place.
this time, with trump fighting for his power at home, when Kim asked him to come and sit down, trump said yes, where should it be??
could not come at a better time for him.. Well, thats the way it goes some times..
Now, of the 4 items in the letter the two of them signed.. a start, so that is OK..
but with no time line on anything, trump gave up the war games with SK... This is a bigger point in Asia then it ever was in the US..
What did we get back for that?? Nothing that I have heard..
the return of American remains? OK but still no time line on that either..
So, did we see a clear definition on what denucleation means?? Not a word..
Do you think we will give up troops and air bases as it is reported that is NK demand in return..
What about Japan.. not even mentioned in anything I read..
economic aid, removal of sanctions. I think these were mentioned but no schedule or time line ..
But to look at the positive side, the people now working on this should be able to set up more meetings and define a course of action, prioritize each set of need..
what did I like least? that would have to be the off hand remark by orange dummy..
When pointed out that China had not maintained sanctions the last couple weeks or so, he simply said "thats OK" or "that dosnt matter" or something of that nature..
I was hoping he had been made aware that this is much more then a photo shoot or a scripted TV program...
So, which points did you find to be most gratifying???
