Another thing the left just doesn't get, is the American people who vote for President Trump are completely fed up with the corruption and abuse of power that has been seeping into our lives for decades. Obama misread the country and was so blatant that he is actually responsible for the 'normal' American's backlash. It became glaringly obvious that something had to be done or our individual liberties and freedom of speech were going to disappear. That "fundamental transformation" into a third world, banana republic police state, run by a bunch of leftist elitists, (in their eyes anyway,) didn't appeal to over half the country. The sad and scary part is that there are a good number of Americans who now think a bunch of elitists running their lives isn't all that bad. How anyone would want to give up a life of individual liberty and free speech for a false promise of a life time of government control, (just taking care of you of course,) is astounding. Obama was happy, actually eager to manage America's decline. He repeatedly told us all, high unemployment, lower wages,expecting less, flooding the country with illegals, contempt for our founding principles, this was the "new normal", and we all needed to just get used to it.
