You need waders, and a fly rod, and some flies, a creel, and a landing net, and then you are ready to fish for trout. You could do it I suppose sitting on the bank with a spinning rod, and maybe some worms, or if you was good, some minnows, along with a bobber, if you call that fishing?

I've caught them using whole kernel canned corn, a #10 gold hook and 2 pound test line in the Blue Ridge. Mike

Yeah, iv'e caught them with a cut off river growth branch a #8 thread and a night crawler when i was a kid in West by god Virginia.

Gotta love those cricks, branches and streams. Lots of fish in skinny water and you don't need a fly rod nor fancy flies. Mike
