Yes indeed,,, people dont get that, but is was true,,,, the Chief however, was a pseudo-political "appointment" but could be inherited,,, however it could be taken by force ie: Red Cloud, and Crazy Horse (they killed the incumbents)
We had no "money" per se, but there were "things" of value, and like all societies,, money (er things of value) talks,,,,the rest of us walk. So there was greed and avarice even in the absence of $$$.
Either way it was NOT all rosey and wunnerful afore the white man came.....it was pretty damned brutal, not like Dances with Wolves.....

Any "religion" that calls for "killing all who do not believe in Allah" is not a religion, but a tyrannical government. People say that Islam is a "religion" when it is really a way of governing a nation. One of the problems with dealing with Islamic people is that those that are not "Islamic" still treat it as a "religion". If it was called what it really is: a form of tyrannical government, even the liberal-minded people might take heed and react differently.
BTW, I have been saying the same thing about obummer since he was a do-nothing senator/community organizer. I also disagreed with Limbaugh, Hannity, et al on the conservative side that "poo-pooed" the idea that he was a Muslim. I told anyone that would listen that someday they would find out that he was Muslim and it's still going to happen. Those that deny it are ashamed of not vetting him prior to his so-called "elections".

I agree with you guys, even though I have to plead guilty to what you're referring to. I wish there more posters like the two of you, because it does gets pretty insane around here.
