So, someone made an interesting comment that Christians would only bow to their Lord and Savior. Is this true? As a Christian, if a law was passed stating you had to bow in the presence of Obama (or any president for that matter) on the penalty of death, would you?

I want to believe I would stand and pay the price, but of course unless that day comes I probably won't actually find out.

I am kind of waiting here for people to be blown over the edge and for riots to start, but like true socialism, it comes slowly, that enrages me, I want the line to be crossed and riots to start, don't call me an anarchist, because that is what I assume will happen, but I am fascinated by what would happen in a near apocalyptic scenario. Like Ukraine. I know I am Naive, but though it would be fascinating, I understand that it would be the opposite of fun, that's for sure. But I think that is the way we are heading more and more as a nation.

No. As I said, someone mentioned it in another thread, and it just got me wondering. The bible says every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Ever think about if we are wrong? If I as a Christian are wrong about the existence of God, I will go to my grave and slowly rot away. If a non-believer is wrong, he is not going to stand before God and say "oops". He/she will bow but it will be too late at that point. Someone said something about the great second chance... sorry but if the Bible is correct, that is simply not going to happen. The words I would fear most in life are "Depart from me, I knew you not".

There is much truth here. If I understand what is beneath your anxiousness (not anxiety), I agree. If it came too slowly, people wouldn't wake up until the jackboots knock on their door. not really, I am a libertarian. but when CANADA is more free than "the country of the free" yea I am up for a little riot or two. I am NOT a right winger, some of my views are Conservative, mainly because some of the Conservative views are libertarian.

I don't like what I am about to say, but based on all I see happening today without any reaction except grumbling, I think most Americans would bow, step, 'n fetch. What would I do? I may be wrong, but I think I'd probably simply commit suicide and be done with all the crap. I know one thing: I wouldn't give the dictator the opportunity to kill me.

No, I would not bow to him. I would not bow to anyone other than God. Sadly, I agree with the last poster; I believe that most Americans would bow to him simply because Obama has been allowed to almost completely destroyed the backbone of America. Even down to what is being taught to our children has been rewritten. Now that he plans to reduce our military to levels lower than pre WWII levels, it would not be hard for his Muslim brothers to walk in and take over. The next step is crowing himself emperor or king. Bowing would then be the normal. Did he not bow to the Muslim nation a few years back? We complain, we write about it; but when the sh*t hits the fan, most would be kissing his feet.

Personally, I wouldn't bow down to anyone except Jesus Christ. If it came down to them taking my life for not bowing down to oscandal or any other leader, then so be it. This reminds me of something I just read at Prophecy News Watch. They were talking about putting chips inside people's skin for identification purposes. All your personal info and financial info would be on this chip. This could very well be the beginning of the mark of the beast. If you don't take this chip, you cannot buy, sell, etc. Thats exactly what the Bible says will happen in the end times. So far, they haven't mentioned any numbers that would be on the chip, such as 666. But, I wouldn't take the chip, since I believe it's the beginning of the 666 I.D. tag. It's being implenented in certain cities and people are lining up to get it. It is being introduced as a new technology that eventually everyone will have to get. The Bible says not to pierce, tattoo,etc. anything into or onto your skin. So, that's the route I'm taking. I won't allow anything to be under my skin to identify myself. Sounds like to me, that things are coming about, just like the Bible predicts. It's certainly something to think about, for anyone who doesn't know the Lord. The new chip is just the beginning of a much bigger picture of serving the beast. Its the beginning of the end. There is no doubt in my mind that it's time to start thinking seriously about what the Bible says and your relationship with God and Jesus Christ. Like someone else said in this forum, if I'm wrong, I'll just rot away. If I'm right, then I'll go to heaven. If you don't believe, then you are taking a chance of ending up in hell. It's all in what your belief system is.
