That's the URL that was there when I did what you do best...copy and paste. Or are YOU being deceitful by not admitting that you conveniently used the edit key that's available for a little while after your post?

And by the way, how are your 6th grade Common Core math skills working out for 'ya?

I think the sole purpose to control guns is to establish a dictatorship ie, Hitler, Mussolini, and possibly Obama.

Let's consider...

Raylan Wolfe wrote:
The experts already did the math, US gun deaths are 70% higher than Canada's in relevance to population!

4.47 people out of 100,000 die of gun deaths in the US

2.5 people out 100,000 die of gun deaths in Canada.
A sixth grader can do the math!

Â…This must be Common Core math -- remember 4 x 3 = 11? Doing the math the way I was taught by the Ursuline nuns shows it being 78.8 percent

Posted 3/31/11
TOKYO -- The number of Japanese who committed suicide declined last year, but remained above 30,000 for the 13th straight year with a sharp jump in deaths by those citing grim job prospects, a government report said Thursday.

Japan has for years had one of the world's highest suicide rates.

In all, 31,690 people killed themselves last year, a 3.5 percent decrease from the year before. Many cited depression, economic hardships and job-related concerns, according to the annual report by the National Police Agency.

You idiot, venereal disease proved my point, my geusstimated US gun deaths were 70% higher than Canada's, venereal just has proven that it is actually higher! Time for tighter gun control!

As stated before, blunt object murders are way up in your "advanced societies." Should we ban hammers?
You know Brain...if someone wants to kill and do evil, they are going to do it.
Now if you want to talk about inflicting mass casualties, guns don't matter. High capacity mags don't matter. If you did a little research, I'm sure you would find that you could build an explosive device from things you have in your own home.
Does that make you a mass killer??

You are correct Archie. According to article four, section four of the constitution we are guaranteed a republican form of government. In fact you can only have a democracy under a republican form of government.
I am in touch with my own ignorance so I don't comment on that which I am ignorant of. But I am positive that if all firearms were to suddenly disappear, the murderous onslaught would continue.

I guess I need to repeat myself you numbskull because you have the retention of a gnat -- with apologies to the gnat...

ThatÂ’s doesnÂ’t tell the whole story you idiot. All it does is stir up paranoia in the masses, something you seem to want to accomplish to control them. And what do you do, just surf the web, look at the headline, if that, and post it? ANY idiot can be good at cut and paste. It takes a little bit of intelligence, which you apparently donÂ’t have, to research and make conclusions based on data, not opinion.

Which brings me to my pointÂ…At face level the US does have more guns and gun-related killings than any other developed country. However the stats that I posted: 1) Homicides by firearm per 100,000 population where worldwide, the US ranks #28, and 2) Homicides by firearm per 1,000 civilian firearms where the US ranks #65, paint a much clearer picture of the correlation of the number of gun homicides in the US in relation to population and number of guns.
