For one thing, we are Not a democracy, we are a constitutional republic.

Now if you want to talk about inflicting mass casualties, guns don't matter. High capacity mags don't matter. If you did a little research, I'm sure you would find that you could build an explosive device from things you have in your own home.

And what do you do, just surf the web, look at the headline, if that, and post it? ANY idiot can be good at cut and paste. It takes a little bit of intelligence, which you apparently don’t have, to research and make conclusions based on data, not opinion.

Which brings me to my point…At face level the US does have more guns and gun-related killings than any other developed country. However the stats that I posted: 1) Homicides by firearm per 100,000 population where worldwide, the US ranks #28, and 2) Homicides by firearm per 1,000 civilian firearms where the US ranks #65, paint a much clearer picture of the correlation of the number of gun homicides in the US in relation to population and number of guns.
