What this police officer did was un excusable. Im always on police side, but not this time....I could never understand why police have to use deadly force when apprehending someone with a gun..Why cant they shoot them in the arm or a leg??? Dont they train for that??/Maybe im wrong, but this police officer shot this man 20 times..Can you spell OVERKILL???...Anyways here's what happened....

According to what I read, he had a cell phone and one cop thought it was a gun. If one of the cops yelled out, gun, that explains the reason they shot him. I apprehended a kid once who I caught climbing into a neighbors window and after I got the cuffs on him and looked up there were about ten of his friends within twenty feet of me. I pulled my gun and they stopped but if even one had taken another step I would have shot. Sometimes you only have seconds to react.

The cops may be guilty or not but one thing is for sure they don’t have to get shot before they react.No matter how it works out the fact is if the kid wasn’t out there acting up nothing would have happened.

Acting up? He was in his grandparents back yard. How many people wear earpieces or headphones now? Picture you are taking the trash to the alley listening to music on headphones or taking a call with a headset on then turn around surprised to see why there are flashlights in your yard and immediately get shot twenty times.

I see police here all carrying tasers, but they rarely use them. A police officer killed a mentally diseased woman who was brandishing a knife, instead of using their tasers. I asked a cop why his taser was on his off side, instead of his dominant side and he said he would be afraid that he might get shot before he could draw his firearm. I tested this theory................it took an additional second to reach over to draw a firearm from the off side.

Police are not trained adequately enough, and their training concentrates on firearm use, instead of on non lethal weapons. Hint: most police departments have their trainees get shot with a taser under controlled conditions, to teach them what it feels like. Maybe we need to shoot them during training, so they know what THAT feels like.

The initial reports NEVER look good for police officers involved in shootings and the person shot is always portrayed as "innocent kids" just minding their own business. Stop for a moment and think about "hands up, don't shoot" fiasco and how many marches were in honor of that "innocent" man.....who turned out to not be so innocent. Or the one in NYC who was painted as a saint and "strangled" by officers.... Or the shooting by the female of the "innocent motorist" who had the misfortune of being broken down on the highway. And if the one being shot is black..... then the reports are without fail, biased against the cop.....even if that cop is also black!

Now check out how the cops are made out to be murders of innocent: "Clark was never running from the police. He was already running through backyards and hopping fences in his neighborhood.." And the cops were supposed to know this..... how? " They yell at him to show his hands, say that he has a gun and begin shooting at him. They fire at him 20 times." Then going on: "The police claimed that they saw him with a gun, and the excuse everyone is making for that is, “Well, it was dark.” Well, guess what? Stephon Clark was in that same darkness and had no way of knowing who was coming toward him in that darkness as he stood in his own backyard. Have you ever been on the other side of a police flashlight? Those things are blinding and make it impossible for you to see anything. If the police didn’t identify themselves as officers, how was he supposed to know who they were? " Let that sink in..... the cops singled out this innocent black man just standing in his own backyard..... wait, what about " He was already running through backyards and hopping fences..." Which was it, was he just standing in his backyard or had he just gotten there after running and hopping fences? Did not get shot 20 times liar,the officers shot 20 rounds but he was not hit 20 times, liar.He also was not taking grandmas trash out,liar,he was vandalizing area homes and one neighbor called police.He had a long pipe and had just finished off a large window when police arrived.He also did not have a headset on liar,it was not an alley liar it was neighbors back yards,liar.
