NRA Membership - Only 5 million people

Though most gun owners are not members of the NRA, they only have 5 million members. The US population is about 327 million people. Do the math, only 1bout 1.2 % of Americans are NRA members. I am not a member, but to blame the NRA for all the gun violence in America is ridiculous.

Of course it is, GM. I would like to know if there are any statistics that show how many gun crimes have been perpetrated by NRA members? Anybody know? I am a member and know several people who are and I am sure none of them would think of committing a crime, yet we seem to be the target of many of the millennials carrying signs these days.

I think the question should be how many young blacks thugs running around Chicago shooting people dead almost every day are NRA members? My guess is non of them are NRA members.

Nope! My son is a member and they always have the lights on in the winter and if necessary in the summer. The meetings are open and quite often are attended by Community Business leaders, Teachers, State and Local politicians, Judges and Police Officers at all levels. They are extremely active in teaching gun safety and laws for local sporting groups and schools.
Their agendas are published a month in advance and often appear in the local fish-wrap newspaper in case someone would like to attend a particular session's discussion.

As far as I know the NRA has never killed anyone. I may never fly Delta again or use a rental car from Hertz. All embisilic attitudes.
