Really, Trump would have, bare-handedly, dealt with the Parkland shooter?

https://bipartisanreport.com/2017/09/28/elderly-man-falls-at-mar-a-lago-trump-complains-about-blood-staining-marble-floor

Caleb Newton - September 28, 2017

Recordings of President Trump’s dozens of appearances on the Howard Stern radio show have newly surfaced thanks to the efforts of some hardworking journalists, and these recordings have yielded some disturbing comments from the man currently serving as our commander-in-chief.

In 2008 — less than ten years ago — Trump appeared on the radio show and told Stern the story of an elderly man falling and subsequently bleeding profusely at a Red Cross charity ball at his Florida Mar-A-Lago resort.

Did Trump rush to secure medical attention for the man? No. Instead, as he proudly described to Stern, he turned away in disgust from the bleeding man, whose wife was “screaming,” as U.S. Marines who were present at the event carried the man out and secured medical attention for him.

Making this whole thing worse is just how “proud” he seemed to be of his behavior. He wasn’t even trying to hide it. What kind of person is proud of how “disgusting” they find a wounded elderly man to be?

Trump described the man to Stern as someone “a lot of people didn’t like,” saying:

‘So what happens is, this guy falls off [the stage] right on his face, hits his head and I thought he died. And you know what I did? I said, “Oh my god, that’s disgusting,” and I turned away. I couldn’t, you know — he was right in front of me. I turned away, I didn’t want to touch him.’

Perhaps Trump’s comments help explain why he has, among other things, been so hesitant to help the Americans in Puerto Rico suffering from the effects of the massive Hurricane Maria. He simply operates with a sense of entitlement that separates him from the normal concerns of helping when someone is in desperate need.

As he went on while speaking to Stern, he was more concerned for the state of his floor than he was for the health of the injured man.

The man who would eventually become president commented:

"He’s bleeding all over the place, I felt terrible, you know. Beautiful marble floor, it didn’t look so good. It changed color, it became very red… I never saw it, they ran him out. I was saying, “Get that blood cleaned up, it’s disgusting.”‘

What an arrangement of priorities.

No Hemiman, since my write-in vote went to Jim Webb, I won't respond to your absurd speculation. Check out Webb on the following:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Webb

Or, just these excerpts....

'After graduating from the Naval Academy, Webb was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. Attending the Marine Corps Officer Basic School shortly after leaving Annapolis, he graduated first in his class. He was promoted to first lieutenant in the second half of his tour in Vietnam. He served as a platoon commander with Delta Company, 1st Battalion 5th Marines. He was awarded the Navy Cross for heroism in Vietnam, the second highest decoration in the Navy and Marine Corps. Webb also was awarded the Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, and two Purple Hearts. After returning from Vietnam, he was assigned to Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, as an instructor for Officer Candidates School (OCS). Deep selected for captain, he was then assigned to the Secretary of the Navy's office for the remainder of his active duty. His war wounds left him with shrapnel in his knee, kidney, and head. The injury to his knee led to a medical board that decided on medical retirement.'

And....

'James Henry Webb Jr. (born February 9, 1946) is an American politician and author. He has served as a United States Senator from Virginia, under Ronald Reagan as both Secretary of the Navy & Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs, Counsel for the United States House Committee on Veterans' Affairs and Marine Corps officer.

In the private sector he has been an Emmy Award winning journalist, a filmmaker, and the author of ten books. In addition, he taught literature at the United States Naval Academy and was a Fellow at the Harvard Institute of Politics. As a member of the Democratic Party, Webb announced on November 19, 2014, that he was forming an exploratory committee to evaluate a run for President of the United States in 2016. On July 2, 2015, he announced that he would be joining the race for the Democratic nomination for president, but stepped down from running in the primaries on October 20, 2015, stating that he was "not comfortable" and "unhappy" with many of the party's political positions.'

I thought that was funny too. Does he really expect us to believe that a draft dodger would actually run into harms way?

A vote for Mr Webb was a vote for Clinton and I am sure you knew that.I never said I didn’t think he wasn’t a better candidate however if a person cares for what is right for the country and not the ego the vote should have and fortunately did go to President Trump.Maybe you prefer living with her as president but I sure didn’t.If you cared about your country it doesn’t seem a lot to ask for a person to suck it up and place a vote where it will mean something.
As for your trip down memory lane with the low life stuff you put up from Howard Stern, hope it makes you feel empowered to be part of the low life scum that would back a crew that tried to overthrow the government of the US,it fits you like a glove.

For one thing he wouldn’t have bragged about how he would charge into the school unarmed, only a narcissistic buffoon would make such a claim.

Nonsense, Hemiman. Trump was the low life scum in that particular show (and others) from Howard Stern. If you can read it and believe otherwise, then it is you who should ask how much you care for our nation. I accept him being our president, but I cannot bring myself to believe he is what it is best for America. Neither would Clinton have been. As I have written, I found both Trump and Clinton poor choices, and was very comfortable in my write-in vote for Jim Webb though I knew he couldn't win. To suggest it was a vote for Clinton is pure fantasy on your part.

I respect your service, but find your brand of patriotism hard to understand.
