What he is talking about will change nothing, and I have no problem with any of it.
I'm actually in favor of raising the age to purchase a rifle. We have it for handguns, so why not rifles? I don't care about bump stocks, since I don't see a practical use for them other than entertainment, and burning through a lot of money real fast. And, a waiting period of, say, at least 3 days might not be a bad idea either.
I'm one of those conservatives that you like to insult with your keyboard, so what do you think of that?

Some have a good argument against raising the age for possession, but they won't go out and riot if it actually is raised. The left and their Hollywood friends and idiots are the ones who do that. They'll turn it into a race issue or some other such nonsense and incite violence in the name of banning guns or some other such idiocy.

But don't forget that Trump always behaved and thought like a liberal New Yorker. All of a sudden he needs to run for President and decided to take up all the conservative views to help him win the Republican nomination. He knew he couldn't run as a democrat; that was Hillary Clinton's job and the DNC would not let him get the nomination in a million years. He's surrounded by liberals (his daughter and son-in-law). Don't be surprised of all the changes he will make before he's done.
