I've already said schools should have been hardened after they became targets in the 70s and that is the quickest and best way to protect kids. That puts the blame on politics not the cops.

Trump will see schools hardened and soon o' ye of no faith. The rest of the "cons" will go along with him. All this other stuff is peripheral but there is a sense in putting the word out that people in schools might be armed whether you actually do it right away or not.

His parents
His siblings
His friends
His teachers

None of them are legally bound to operate judiciously. They are all morally bound to do the right thing. They all failed him because they relied on a system that is not equipped to deal with a 'maybe'. Only when the 'maybe' becomes a reality is the system equipped to deal with him. By then, it's too late. The crime has been committed and the issue is immediately, and I mean immediately twisted to be about 'the guns'. it's astounding how quickly they can swoop in on a crime scene such as this and hijack the entire process from the very beginning. He has asked Sessions and Congress to consider stricter back ground checks and banning the bumb stock guns..

The solutions you listed could have very well been the course taken..However in doing nothing about it we don’t know what “ could have been the solution??? They should have followed protocal and done something!! That entire field office should be fired, that much I do know....

The FBI admitted to not following protocal and investigated this guy.. May have done nothing if you recall the shooter in Orlando..Hell they investigated and cleared him three times.. How about the Boston bombs of the two guys that did it.. Even when told by Russia they cleared them !!!?? WTH!!! Looks like the FBI needs new people, new blood and some serious over hauling of their supposed protocal, whatever that is...
