So, the self-professed superior 'anchor clanker' is going to give us trouble, huh One might be lead to believe an Old Sailor is no better than an Ancient/Antediluvian Mariner. :sm09 No surprise there, as all Squids are incorrigible.

You don't know about the Marine Corps Pecking Order? Oh, yeah, it's a 'thing'. It gives any Marine the authority to overrule any navy orders or routine simply on a whim. It's because of their superior intellect and overwhelming charm. You were in the navy and don't know about that? Hmm. Didn't spend much time around Marines, did you? I remember one story about a group of salties who were 'required' to play poker with a group of well-seasoned Marines one night. By the end of the night, they had not only lost every penny they had but were forced to sign over their paychecks for the next four months. There was the one who refused and was keel-hauled for his insolence, and then he still had to pay up.

Oh, yes. You don't want to cross a Marine, they can be very 'exacting' in their application of 'The Code'.

Best just pay up, OK?

In noticing that you are quick to consider canceling BB's IOUs, I can't help but notice that those IOUs are not made out to you

That's right, cuz if they were owed to me I would have collected on them by now. But let's see, if you was to buy me a burger on Monday, I'd collect them for you on Thursday. He did say he gave a stick to somebody and they beat up an airman. We airmen are so tuff we make our officers do all the fighting.

I'll get back to you on that, but a forewarning: You're gon'na need a very large container for your collection. Also, you should know that BB is a very shifty, elusive Squid, and a master of disguise.

Well, I figured that since he's still above ground, his got a master's in slippery, maybe I can medicate him and get em while he's asleep, then all I have to watch out for is trip wires and bamboo stakes and a million other things you taught him. On second thought, I'm not that hungry for a burger after all... your gonna have to take that machine gun nest yourself... :)

BB's world is more of a hornet's nest than your supposed "machine gun nest," Peewee.

C'est la vie.
