Who’s fault is it we can’t discipline our kids anymore,the liberals. I know parents that are afraid of their own kids,if they slap them on the ass the kid picks up The phone and calls the cops and usually the father is hauled off in handcuffs.The end result is the parents have to deal with liberal Social Services for years getting into all aspects of the family’s life and if they have guns the guns are hauled off never to be seen again.Is it any wonder kids don’t have any respect for authority any more..

Sorry, but I don't agree that some outside force caused parents to become negligent in raising their kids. It isn't just kids that are different today, but their supposedly adult parents are also. Both parents work, come home tired and don't want to be bothered with anything. Thus, they provide their kids with lots snd lots of "things." So, if the kid stays in his room being influenced by many unhealthy things on the web, his smart phone, etc, parents allow that to relieve them of spending any meaningful time/conversation with the kid. Truly caring parents do try, but too many of todsy's parents are self-centered, entitled folks just like the kids they raise. Kids learn from the examples they live with everyday. Then, consider all the harmful trash they see/hear through TV and the Internet and social media. Think of the teenagers that have committed suicide doe to being unbearably and maliciously harassed on social media by other kids. Kids today seem not to have any more constraints than the folks they see on TV. So, where/how do they learn such lessons. How do they become such confused people about everything? How do they not have any strong sense/beliefs about right and wrong?

Also, I only do it occasionally, when the infraction is particularly egregious. Maybe that helps, I dunno. Like I said, their way....
