This funding bill didn't have anything to do with funding DACA. It was a funding bill for American troops. DACA is an entirely different issue. The only reason the Democrats brought DACA up is because funding is the only leverage they have over this entirely different issue bill. But to the Democrats it's the number one issue because they need the votes DACA illegal immigrants will give them if they get away with sneaking ahead of the line and getting citizenship. It's always about self interest with the Democrats, never about the good of the country as a whole.
