Y'all who agree with the President's remark to the effect that we ought not to let people from "shithole countries" into the good ol' USA are perfectly entitled to your opinion, as long as you acknowledge that it represents a distinctly unchristian point of view. Do you actually go to church, or are you just like President Obama used to be, and quote the Bible only for making a political point? Wouldn’t it be better to help lift them up in their own part of the world by making this country the best it can be, so we can help stabilize the part of the world where these oppressed people’s are from? Why bring them here, where they have no skills to contribute to our society, just to put them on welfare and live in poverty and take the chance on terrorism, or being a financial burden on our society? It’s time we take care of our own people first (homeless, opioid addicts etc.). Besides that we are twenty trillion dollars in debt, how do you propose to pay for all of your peace, love and mercy?
