Nasty Nancy has spoken without real knowledge again. She spoke these words before Walmart and Sam's put out knowledge of their raises. They did say what they had done was because of the new tax law, however, I am sure that Nancy would say that was nothing but a lie. Biggest employer in the world doing some real business but she doesn't know about them. She says that one raise that just went into effect was in line because of a union before the tax law was passed. I am pretty sure that the Walmart raise didn't come because of a deal with a union. Surely you left leaners know that a number of unions have tried to unionize many Walmart workers with no success. I am just saying that she couldn't have been talking about Walmart but would gladly say she was.

The real story is how Walmart tried to distract attention from closing so many stores.

Employees get benefits is what made headlines. The fact that it is restricted to only a few employees is hidden. The fact that just as many lose their jobs is not mentioned.

All of the Sam's employees are out of jobs. Of 63 stores about 50 are closing permanently. Others will eventually be converted to distribution centers.
