The pumpkinfurher opened our entire coast to offshore oil drilling east coast, west coast Alaska and Hawaii then he realized the damage it would do and banned drilling in one place. Off the coast of Mar A lago. What a self serving scumbag.

"Off the coast of Mar A Lago"???????

The Trump administration said it plans to release the largest number of offshore oil and gas lease sales in US history. If approved, it would permit drilling in almost all US continental-shelf waters, including protected areas in the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans.

The move rolls back a ban on new offshore drilling off the coasts of Florida and California. It also lifts a ban on drilling put in place by the Obama administration that protected more than 100 million offshore acres along the Arctic and Eastern seaboards.

In total, this means more than a billion acres will be considered for oil and gas production. This includes areas where drilling has been blocked for decades.

The draft identified 47 areas for potential oil and gas production, which industry companies can buy leases for between 2019 and 2024.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said in a statement the proposal could increase federal revenue by $15 billion.

Only one of 26 planning areas would be off limits to oil and gas exploration. The plan does not include Alaska's Bristol Bay, existing marine sanctuaries, or areas around Hawaii and US territories.

I love Hawaii...

My favorite for relaxation was Kauai.

The most fun was the bicycle ride down Mt. Haleakala. Can you still do that?

The most unexpected was how small Waikiki beach is. It's about the size of one hotel's beach in Destin.

The worst was the coffee... Yuch... Oddly my brother orders it from Hawaii. It's interesting to see people hobby-farm coffee, especially on the Big Island.

I love it as well!!! Second time there now and I just can’t get enough...

Maui and Kauai are my favorites but each Island is so unique and sooo friendly and they make the best dang mai tais!!

Yes, you can still ride bikes down Mt. Haleakala, along with those who own their own scooter or you can rent one to tool around all day..

Waikiki is it self small but I loved it.. Went off the beaten path of tourist areas into the village, now you want to talk down to earth, liven life and their food omg!! I had a Maui grilled in honey, pineapple, mangos and a sweet and sour sauce to dip in that was to die for!! Their savron rice toooooo dang good!!!

Kawaii was very small town wise but just all little shops and restaurants... so quaint..

Kono was filled with coffee trees not bushes all over the place .. Kono coffee a major importer there.. I tried all 11 brands and settled for their breakfast blend bringing three bags home and yes their web site to order more.. No acid taste and ever so fresh crushing your own beans...

Napali Coast Was unreal!! Only 296 residents and no electric or running water..

Home of some of the Jurassic Park filming and King Kong.. Very mountainous hardly any flat land all in its natural state...

Remember seeing it when heading back to Kauai?? I did the helicopter ride of it as you really can not get too far on four..

Better stop ~~ I’ll pm you some pictures that will remind you of its amazing beauty if you like??

I liked Kono’s better but did see both plants... lol I love coffee...

Thank You Blade... Kevyn frequently gets things confused...

Interesting article for sure.. The man thinks big!!!! Do have some reservation over some areas I believe should be off limits in drilling but on the whole this plan brings in plenty of revenue that’s for sure and will bring back financial strength, something needed desperately... Now to just properly harness it and let it work for the country!!!

As usual you are the one confused. Not to mention ignorant. And also trying to hide behind obfuscation and massive blubber about what you hope will avoid the nasty truth.

The fact is that Trump is not going to allow oil exploration along the Florida coast off of Palm Beach and his Mar-Lago resort. He even got Florida's Governor Rick Scott, who has always wanted drilling, to buy into it with a flip flop aimed at a future Senate race.

Could it be the threats by Michael Moore to buy leases and start both drilling and fracking close to Mar-Lago?

You are the troll!

Do a Google search and discover what the rest of the world knows. Stop denying the news reported by every major news source.

I wanted your source.

If you don't have one credible enough to share, just say so.

Ah, you aren't even bright enough to use a search engine. No wonder the total ignorance of what every major news outlet is currently reporting.

Go troll somewhere else.

The search engine doesn't tell me your source.

You don't have a credible source, and you know it... I get it.

Trolling is your only recourse, eh?

Every news outlet in the country has the story, but you need a specific source because you aren't smart enough to locate any of the ten sources that I read! That is just troll nonsense kid.
