A bit here and there.. Been out playing more than anything.. Have had a few discussions about it while enjoying the pool too..
“Bomb cyclone” you mean the brisk arctic air that is pretty common this time of year??? One exception is that because the Arctic's deeply frigid weather escaped its regular atmospheric jail that traps the worst cold, it then headed south to central and eastern States...Not all of that unexpected if Canada, Alaska Or Syberia...
Super cold air is normally locked up in the Arctic in the polar vortex around the North Pole, right?? A strong polar vortex keeps that cold air hemmed in and not running off to play elsewhere..Eventualiy when it weakens is when we get the gradual cold temperatures over time....
This time Wellll its the nuance of Mother Nature doing what’ she does oh so well..
It for they all that what is your theory?? I may not have come up on it yet in reading the other posts..
Here’s a little food for you to chew on !! If posted already then it’s still worth reading again!!! Bravo is what I say~~
I haven’t been through the thread yet..
For the past few weeks, a significant portion of the United States has been gripped by bitter cold and strong winter storms that have blanketed various parts of the country in snow.
In other words, fairly routine winter weather, yet even this excessive cold snap hasn’t succeeded in fully quieting the hysterics of those who continuously insist that “man-made global warming” is the root cause of “climate change,” whatever form that change may take.
Indeed, the climate change cultists are now arguing that, of course, bitterly cold and extreme winter weather are the result of a warming globe, as evidenced in this article by noted climate alarmist Dr. Michael Mann and The Climate Reality Project.
Fellow climate alarmist Al Gore pushed a link to that article in a tweet which stated, “It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis.”

It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis.
The article was in response to recent remarks from “climate contrarians” like President Donald Trump mockingly dismissing the notion of “global warming” in the face of extremely cold temperatures.
Unsurprisingly, there is a big red “donate” link at the top of the article, as well as a place to sign up The Cilmate Reality Project’s “activist email list” at the bottom, which was duly noted by conservative Hollywood actor and Twitter funnyman James Woods.
In response to Gore’s tweet, Woods tweeted, “Let me guess: we should DONATE to some website, correct?”
A short time later, Woods added another tweet that informed anyone reading his tweets how they could really make a difference with their money instead of donating it to a “climate hustler” like Gore or Dr. Mann or any of the other alarmists.
Woods tweeted, “Instead of donating your money to a #ClimateHustler, go buy some cold weather sleeping bags. Drive around and give them to the homeless. Instead of supporting more private jet trips for some fat blowhard opportunist, you may be saving the life of a better human being. #WinWin”
He further explained in follow-up tweets that sleeping bags were better donations to the homeless than blankets because they could be zipped up to hold in body heat, and also noted that a donated child’s winter coat could be helpful in providing warmth to a homeless person’s equally homeless pet.
Furthermore, Woods noted that waterproof items like a poncho or tarp could be a “lifesaver” in freezing cold rain and snow, as are inexpensive blowup mattresses designed for camping that could save a homeless person from having to sleep on the cold, hard ground.
Woods essentially pointed out that the homeless deserve help more than Al Gore deserves another yacht, and he is exactly right!!!!! Ain’t it the truth~~~
