Did you read this part...been reported by the weather bureau(where I live) we have not experienced this lengthy stent of freezing weather since 1718. I'm fine with them, when I have questions I do my own research, if you have question I suggest you do the same. You have question their statement, go take it up with them( the NC Weather Bureau) on your questions, personally, I believe them and their records so I'm good.

Holy cow just a little paranoid, the report had nothing to do with global warming, it was just stating how long it's been since here in the south we have had such an extension of a prolonged cold spell. What I'm saying and this is only my opinion, is that these changing weather conditions, just as the numerous strong 4-5 rated hurricanes we had last summer are signs of our changing climate due to the effects of global warming.
