Of all people I wanted to see this, I was hoping you would. It just seems like it's getting to the point that they, 'people of color', are not happy with equality. And she made it sound like they deserved something more because of the past. It was weird but the same time, very interesting. Glad you caught it. Like you say the constant playing of the victim role is getting pretty old.

The guy is being a total jerk. He is insisting that he grew up in a country without racism. But systemic racism is rampent in the US today. The only real change from when he was born is that people now adamantly deny racism, instead of openly pronouncing it! The way we actually treat people of color hasn't changed sufficiently to make much difference. Perhaps a lynch mob is less likely, but being shot by a police officer is not.

We also need to realize this is not only about African Americans. Look at Native Americans! This country still today finds ways to make sure they have to be ten times smarter and work ten times harder to be "successful".

The most racist thing we can do is deny that White Priviledge exists and act as if there is no longer systemic racism.

I don’t think there are many racist events going on today it’s become a mindset for some blacks and a way of life for others.I can’t comment about police I never have any contact with them but the stuff the most recent riots were about sure did not look like the cops were wrong like blacks were indicating.All this crap was pushed by Obama Just one more thing to bring down the country,thing were going along well until he arrived.

EXCUSE ME! Why can't those less fortunate, put one their walking shoes, dress in their Sunday go to meeting clothes and get away from the oppression that is stopping them from succeeding? Racism does exist, each side claiming racism. With the faith of god, anyone can succeed.. Take Racism out of the picture, Dr. Ben Carson did. Keep your nose clean, stay out of trouble and you will be better for it. That is how our forefathers got this Great Nation going, racism for the Jews, Irish, Italians, Germans and people of color were there from the get go. Overtime, they all saw that each had good qualities that each could work with.

Okay, off the band wagon. We all need to come together as a nation, before we lose it.

What Monique Pressley is saying is people of color can't hack it in an equal society.

I guess you missed the election of a black President twice. I've been to the reservations, have you? Much of the squalor is self inflicted. Indians were treated as no race should have been. There situation now is much more complicated than you are making it out. White privilege? Well I'm white. I had no choice in the matter. If you want to say my life is easier because I'm white go ahead. Won't dispute it. Does my being white hold someone else back? Not one bit. You don't like being a minority cause it's too hard. I suggest moving to a county where you're not a minority.

Yea, during the depression, men were jumping off buildings because they lost it all. Self pitying whiner(?), whats wrong with me wanting my grandkids to grow up in a Strong America? But it seems that the Libs are telling that they aren't worth the ground they stand on. Something about white privilege? I've been white all my life (never had much green in my pockets), the green I did have was used to pay for a mortgage and food on the table. I will fight for all kids to get a break in life. Every child in a America should have a fair shake, not based on the color of their skin. It my grandkids can't find it here, then they should look somewhere else. NO ONE DESERVES PREFERENTIAL TREATMENT, not even the ones who got the green.
