In 'Tonight is that sacred pause between breaths, between what was and what will be, between being and not being,' I issued a "red alert" on the dire state of the world thanks to Trump. António Guterres said, “When I took office a year ago, I appealed for 2017 to be a year for peace. Unfortunately, in fundamental ways, the world has gone in reverse. ... Global anxieties over nuclear weapons are the highest since the Cold War, and climate change is moving faster than we are. Inequalities are growing, and we see horrific violations of human rights. Nationalism and xenophobia are on the rise.”

As leader of the most powerful nation on earth, Trump is actively contributing to unrest and division with his policies and comments that is leading us to global conflict, antagonizing allies while favoring despots; marginalizing Mexicans, Gays, and Muslims; gutting our federal agencies meant to protect this country and its citizens; appointing no-nothing Swampites to run Cabinet positions; backing people like Roy Moore; violating the emolument clause and profiting against US interest; friendly with and easy on Neo-Nazis and White Nationalists; and rah-rah for nationalism with his MAGA. And it is a much bigger lists of crimes against democracy than I care to bother listing but is well known. Trump is the most dangerous, and despicable, man on this planet today.

Interesting how libs can use lies to try to accomplish their nefarious purposes. It's sure good to know that most people with 3 digit IQ's recognize this BS.

First of all, what makes you think I give a dead rat's ass what the UN Secretary General thinks or says ? Second, did he call you up and you'all discussed this and got your talking points together ? You have some really good connections. Third, because you and he are in agreement that makes it all true ? Fourth, when I read post like this. I shake my head, smile and say "bless his heart". But I always get a laugh from you.

Interesting how cons can accuse of lies and never offer any proof thereof. (Wow, 3 digit IQ's: it goes that high?)

Your post is really enlightening! Now we know what people with an IQ of 80 get out of intelligent commentary. Virtually nothing!

Yes. Frogophobia. And it is truly scary, life-threatening to all democracies.

A peaceful negotiated settlement between the Palestinians and Israelis on the question of Jerusalem is decent and wise. Common sense diplomacy that would save lives and not endanger the Middle East to future conflict. Trump's rash decision to make Jerusalem Israel's capitol has made a mockery of international law and threatened world peace.

"Live with it or leave!!" Why do you guys always insist that if someone disagrees with you they must leave the country? The inane and un-American "Love it or leave it" chant of 60's Conservatives comes to mind. Forget the First Amendment, right? Forget the Constitutional right of dissent, right? Forget that opposing views shaped this nation and are needed to keep this nation strong. But you want to end all reasonable discussion and deport any voice you do not like. Make America narrow-minded and intolerant again, like the 1860s South.

The only point that we are trying to make is that your rants, raves, protests, posts, etc., all. Have no reason. Give us true facts and be willing to have a civil discussion without the slander and maybe come to if not a solution, maybe a compromise. But, you do make me laugh.

Very strange. The recognized best system of government, what has proven to work in many countries including ours, is a mix of socialism and capitalism. Communism is not only dead but shown itself to be highly ineffective and a disgrace. No "leftie" wants Communism. Get over that useless rant.

Here, we can take a knee during the National Anthem in protest to abusive police tactics and not be executed: Free speech. But the expression of this free speech, guaranteed under our Constitution, does not mean we will not not be publicly attacked and ruined by those who call themselves "patriots." What a patriot should celebrate is this free expression. All our military for centuries have fought and died to secure that right and all our other rights. You and your ilk can be considered the "bitches" of totalitarian governments that forbid such a free voice and look to punish it.
