The "swamp" is the private banking cartel that creates prints our currency and attaches compound interest to be paid to them and their advising investors through the income tax system. It is not for nothing that our president hung a picture of president Jackson in the White House study room.

Why,Do these so called "civil servants" get bonuses???? They are getting paid much more than the AVERAGE American now...STOP these bonuses.
What do they get bonuses
for? My company pays me a bonus based on measurable production benchmarks. Targets are set and, if met (or even exceeded), bonuses are paid. If not, no bonus. It's that simple. So how is the performance of a government employee measured to award bonuses? Showed up on time? Learned all the new PC buzzwords? Donated to Democrat campaigns? Placed 'I hate Trump' sign on desk? Regularly attends #Resistance meetings? All of the above? We don't know, because they're not saying.
We do know that these bonuses can be substantial. In many cases exceeding $10,000 a year. Granted, to the average Government employee making over $100,000 a year that's not much of a bonus (<1%? Meh.), but to the rest of us, $10,000 would be a big deal.
Just another reason to abolish government entirely, in my (humble) opinion.

Hummmm. I have to disagree with that one Mike. But I will sure keep an eye on it.

I could DISAGREE with you more.

I only go by what I see.
Pence holds the sharpest dagger.
Et Tu Pence?

You think Vice President Pence makes a show of being morally superior to other people? I think he is morally superior to a large chunk of those who populate the halls of Congress in Washington DC to a very considerable degree. I don't think he is so much 'sympathetic to the attacks from the left' as feeling pity for those poor fools who are attacking from the 'left'. He sees them for who and what they are, and I can understand how, deep down, he pities them in their foolishness. His reference to the 'higher moral ground' just acts to cement his overwhelmingly superior principles and morality.

On the surface, Vice President Pence knows President Trump for a generous, God-fearing man of great determination and greater love for his country. Were that not so, it is highly doubtful that he would have accepted President Trumps offer to occupy the Trump administration's Vice Presidential office. 'Deep down in', he understands President Trump's moral compass and apparently approves.

Vice President Pence may well become the 46th President of the United States. That will be a decision he will make on his own accord when the time comes, probably sometime in late 2023 or early 2024, when President Trump approaches the end of his second term, by which time there will be no more 'deep State'. 'Rehearsing his speech now'? I'm sure there'll be plenty of time for that when he is elected, should he choose to run.
Looking around, I see another strong contender for President in 2024: Former governor of South Carolina and current United States Ambassador to the United Nations, Mrs. Nikki Nimrata Haley. Thus far she has distinguished herself in her political career both in South Carolina and at the United Nations. I think she's worth watching.

I don't trust her either. Like Pence, there's something about her that betrays my trust. Both show vulnerabilities to standard leftist attacks from the phony hills of high moral ground. Trump doesn't give a mueller what the left says about him, but Pence and Haley do. They feel obligated to bend to claimed higher moral ground. Just what the lefties want, wussses.

Perhaps you are leery simply because they are politicians, while Trump is not

I only go by what I see from them. High wire moralists who can be pushed off the wire easily by the left.
Getting a gov job is a lot like winning a lottery. A friend got a job because of his top secret clearance. He has been there for a year making over 70k and has still not been told what his supposed to be doing. He has started three business over the phone while "working" there.

He signed a law in Indiana that all aborted fetuses had to have a funeral just one of a series of screwball laws
