Get a grip, radiance3. The bible in so far as I know doesn't say it is wrong to sell a cake to a gay person.
You know, you're right. It doesn't say '
it is wrong to make a 'gay wedding' cake'. As far as I know (and I might be wrong on this), the bible never mentions cake at all, not even once in all of it's more than 1900 pages. Isn't that rather odd? Here is this enormous volume of knowledge, so large that it is broken down into 67 books and 21 epistles, and no mention of 'cake', anywhere. It's almost as if God wants nothing to do with this 'debate'.
So to say that the bible doesn't say it is wrong to sell a cake to a gay person would be an excellent point well made, except that it doesn't say it isn't either. Oopsies.
Here's the rub. It doesn't say you should, either, because 'cake' (see above). No, forcing good moral Christian people to bake 'gay wedding' cakes is entirely under the umbrella of 'tyrannical government', not 'Bible'. So, instead of focusing on the non-existence of the word 'cake' in the bible, we should really be looking for the authority vested in government to force Christian bakers to cater 'gay weddings'. Well, all government authority is (handily) kept in one document we call the Constitution. Fortunately for us, the Constitution is much shorter and far simpler than the Bible, so it should be easy to find, right? Just flip through a few pages and presto! There it is! Right? But no. Try as I might, I can find no clause or sentence, nothing granting government the authority to regulate the supply of 'gay wedding' cakes, period. In fact, the constitution is even less interested in 'gayness' as a whole, never even mentioning this aberration, not even once, and it grants no authorities for government to force anyone to do business with anyone else, period. It mentions nothing about 'cake' either. Not even the word.
In fact, the Constitution comes up a complete blank on everything 'gay'. Not a peep. At least the bible has Leviticus.
We're arguing over an authority that doesn't even exist! How sadly moronic is that?
