Your buddy, Kap as you call him was protesting the death by idiocy of Michael Brown. You know the "Hands up. Don't shoot" narrative?
The one that never happened. So the protest was originally based on a lie. No wonder you support it. Birds of a feather and all that.

J,

Not sure who/what the origin was about. I spose i will accept your word... Rather then hunt for an orign..

I am not very consumed about this... It will pass and the NFL will go on..

I do not watch a lot any more. but the Vikings are doing better then I ever thought they could without the starting QB and #1 running back..

Hate to say it, but I don`t care much.. If a man wants to kneel, let him, if others find it maddening, I am OK with that..

First few times I watch kap, kneel, it angered me. But then I found out I misunderstood his point..

Kevy is smoken the bowl again or just wishing what he said is true..

Did you read the breakdown of each fan base by party affiliation, according to a poll.??? “Keep in mind that more Americans self-identify as Democrats than Republicans. In our poll, the average team’s fan base is made up of 6 percentage points more Democrats than Republicans. The key is to look at how each team’s fan base compares to the average...

And now who owns these teams????

Ah so.... Now I remember...

the reprobate claimed he did not know those balls were soft... In a game they won by what 38 points??

clearly, the outcome was created by the soft footballs...LOL..

I may not like the Patriots but that was a hard sell.. If you are a fan, it would stick in you craw...

I am a fan and it does stick in my craw as you say., They are too damn good to have to do something like that and while I accept what went down I’m still thinking The fines should have been more severe.. if you have to cheat to win well you don't€™t belong on the field!!
Unless of course its me, I cheat, and I tell ya I cheat..

Take golf for instance it is agreed I’m 2 under of the lowest score regardless and mulligans are hole in ones*** I nevahhhhhh loose.. Thank You very much.,

Would you deny me??

Golf? Oh, Linda, say it isn't so! Please, not golf, anything but golf. A more monumentally pointless game was never devised than golf. Spending several hours chasing a little ball over hill and dale just to hit it again makes no sense whatsoever.

"It took me seventeen years to get three thousand hits in baseball. It took one afternoon on the golf course." – Hank Aaron

Listen to Hank, he knows what he's saying.

Not quite true. The last agreement between players and owners gave ultra-expensive concessions to owners; players get revenue from sale of jerseys, caps, and other wearing apparel. Failure to buiy caps, logos, jackets, etc. causes more grief to players than owners. No one cares if you don't show up. Most tickets are of season-type so that money is already in the bank for the owners.

I can only think of two owners who have stated party affiliations. Kraft of NE appears to be a GOPer; Rooney of Pittsburgh a Dem. if anyone can help out here...go ahead...but no guessing, please!

Just a guess...but maybe because they represent a blue collar, working man's town.

No, I have been thinking about it. After one of those SB wins, the coach, the one who is now on one of the pregame shows..

he walked around the stadium literally with tears in his eyes he was so happy with the win. Somehow that connected with me and I find the steelers an entertaining team..

Blue collar.... My father was a farmer... when we moved to the city, he became a carpenter..

Is that a blue collar back ground??

Working man.... those cariers pretty well fill that bill...

You're thinking of Coach Cowher. I would venture that carpentry would be blue-collar.

With my back and leg, hunting anything other than rabbits is kind of a non-starter for me. I used to deer hunt every year. Now I'm old and all banged up.
