Thank You Kankune, but what I meant was I play my own music although I listen to it too.in other words it would cut into playing time. I will deal with it.

No..I don't. Use to play the guitar and drums a little. I'm more of a singer. Use to sing with a band called the Ski band many years ago. We didn't go very far, but we sure had fun....

I started out running their sound system. Dean the lead got sick, so they threw me up there. I stayed after Dean came back. Was really one of the funest and....craziest times of my life. I met some really great people and some that were down right from a different planet. lol

We were just a small band out of Iowa. We did a lot of county fairs, state fairs, rock and roll bars. They were and are a great bunch of guys. Still keep in touch with some of them. Some of us got together a few years ago and took a road trip to Grand Haven Mi right on Lake MI. It was quite the trip. Took me about 2 weeks to recover. IT WAS WORTH IT! πππ

We were a 5 piece that did schools, parties and bars along with venues anywhere we could get in and around Chicago.most of mine were drafted and never made a back, those still around are still kept in touch with.we did cut a demo after being in a battle of the bands in a Montreal suburb.. didn't win but did get honorable mention which bought the studio time.glad you did the trip,it had to be a blast.we went west coast and Midwest here so know about road trips well... to quote a song " those were the days my friend " again pleased to meet you on here. we share good times.
have a pleasant evening I need to call it a day. Goodnight

Sounds like you had a blast too.
Ah yes...those were the days. Sleep well my new friend. Nite.....
I love most music and always wished I could sing... I once thought I could sing okay until I heard my voice on a tape recorder... it scarred me for life... so I only sang to the cattle... until I got tired of mending fences.
