PR - I think what "comparers" might be referring to are lists like this one that circulate periodically on the internet.
It's called a 'meme'. These things are used to try and shut down civil discourse by making outrageous claims that are not worthy of reply. Of course, when there is no reply, the meme user then declares victory because he shut the civil side of the discussion down. In their tiny minds, no reply is equivalent to winning the argument.

The last claim about Muslims wearing IDs is a little shaky - it grew from an interview where he was (as usual) not exactly clear. It was a "we can't rule anything out" kind of comment.
"[A] little shaky". I'd say. It was during his campaign, after he had made his now famous 'build the wall' speech. He was attempting to put across his proposals on immigration and the Yahoo News interviewer tries to bait him by asking if he might require registering Muslims in a database or giving them a form of special identification that noted their religion. He never said he would. That didn't matter. The question was enough to accuse him of Nazism.

In addition to this list, Trump shares a common strategy with Hitler of trying to discredit/demonize the free press. That seed has been planted and seems to be flourishing beyond expectations.
Discredit? Demonize? Does it occur to you that his problems with the press are real? Does it occur to you that mainstream media outlets such as CNN and MSNBC are actually attempting to mislead the public with their underhanded reporting tactics? Does it occur to you that the public see this for what it is and that's why these claims are 'flourishing'?

Do I think Trump is a murder? Probably not.
Yet you compare him to the most infamous mass murderer to ever walk the Earth? A man so evil his own family changed their names to avoid being associated with him in any way. I would not be surprised to find that there is no-one left on this planet bearing the name 'Hitler'. Yet you place his likeness next to the President of the United States and draw similarities? Are you familiar with the word 'sedition'?

But I do believe he, and what he stands for, are a threat to democracy everywhere.
Why? Why do you say that? What is it about this man that makes you think that he is a universal 'threat to democracy'. What does he stand for that you fear so much? Why are you so seditious?

Plus he is a buffoon of the highest order.
The word 'buffoon' is defined as 'a ridiculous but amusing person; a clown'. So on the one hand you compare him to the most infamous mass murderer in the history of the planet, on the other you refer to him as a harmless amusement. Can you make your mind up? Are you capable of deciding one way or another? You're not blonde, are you?

Not exactly damning, but not what I want in a president either.
Not exactly damning??? I know this is getting repetitive, but really? You compared him to Adolf Hitler, for Pete's sake! You described him as a universal threat to democracy! If I believed those things about someone, I'd say it's 'damning'. I'd go a lot further than that. I'd be yelling it from the rooftops and holding public meetings to spread the word. I'd be sending 'hit pieces' to the editor of the local newspaper. I might even sic Matt Drudge on them. I most certainly wouldn't consider someone with those traits to be Presidential material, so on that we can shake hands and agree. The rest of it? Meh, not so much.
