You interpret normal family affection between members who love and trust each other as preludes to molestation. Either you were raised in a family where no physical contact of any sort ever existed, even a fatherly hug, or you lived with people who had sex with their kids or perhaps rented them out by the hour like on the island resort run by the close friend of Bill and Hillary Clinton. I was raised in a family where absolutely no normal hugging happened ad the boundaries were hard and fast rules, and no affection of any form was permitted, so i understand that type. The other type I am also familiar with in the horrible lives of the boys we work with which include renting them out by the hour forced anal rape as children and forced into doing child pornography, so I understand that side of the coin too. Were it not for SWMBO and her family I would have never had any frame of reference into the normal kind and loving family life. The whole thing smacks of more Dem mud-slinging once again. Since Moore has been in the public eye for all his adult life, why now do these spurious allegations arise? These alleged actions occurred 38 years ago, why are they just now coming to light? I think this will be resolved the same as the Tawana Brawley 'rape' case. If the Dems are so concerned about this type of activity, where were they during all the complaints about B. Clinton and his accusers?
I think the whole thing is a made-up smear campaign to keep Moore from being elected to the Senate.

PR, I am feeling like I am getting to know you as a decent person, at least from the little one can glean on a forum like this.
I don't know, any more than you or anyone else (except Moore and the accusers), whether or not the allegations against Moore are true.

But it's really important that everyone understand that there are very real reasons why women may not report abuse. The idea that these accusations are not true simply because they have not come to light by now is insulting to abused women everywhere. Here's one article that speaks to why women may not report.
