Wow now that’s a great comment when for 8 years all you did was scream about the deficit. Half the republicans in the house campaigned budget revenue neutral and cut the deficit. Now you pass a budget that increases the deficit and a Tax bill that explodes the deficit.

Yup and that’s because the republicans refuse to use the proper procedure. There drafting it in secret did not go thru the standard procedure with the finance committee, and then when Democrats don’t vote for it democrats are obstructionist. It will be difficult to pass with just Republican votes. The Senate had to many deficit hawks and there not going to vote to increase the deficit. Don’t forget they haven’t even addressed there $1.4 trillion infrastructure bill. Trump still insisting on a $60 billion Wall.
But there main agenda is to drop corporate tax rate to 20% then elimate the Alternative minimum tax and the inheritance tax, expand the pass thru loophole there is no way to pay for these items without this tax cut being deficit financed. It will create a $6 trillion shortfall in the federal budget. That’s why the republicans continued to delay the bill.
I don’t understand why they don’t draft the bill in Committee all there doing is writing a tax bill using the committee chairmen how do they expect to get a bill passed without democratic votes. The republicans are bypassing the the process you lose McCain just on that issue. Jeff Flake is a deficit hawk you loose his vote. I don’t understand the GOP logic
